I'm a guy that still listens to the radio. There's a local station called 98 Rock and they'll play shit from Twenty One Pilots and shit like this all day!

you must be in the DC Metro area, or around Baltimore. at least 98 Rock has a more varied selection than DC101, they just plain suck except for a few segments

Correction: orthodox Marxism isn't bad in and of itself, but its advocates need to be closely watched to make sure that they don't succumb to the same temptations of power that Lenin did. That's part of the reason why Bakunin et al split off from the First International - they saw it coming.

Orthodox Marxism is bad though, since it leads to the ruling class being supplanted by a political class that will inevitably be corrupted by power. At least, according to the ML tradition

Might have some offer for student emails as well.

This. My mom is a government contractor and she got Office Professional, Project and Visio for about $100 total. That may seem like a lot, but Project and Visio are hundreds of dollars each individually. These are also essentially business/enterprise licenses that give you full functionality and never expire - I recently reinstalled them on her new computer with no hiccups about license transference or anything.

I support communism too, or at least a socialist society.

It's socialism or death by capitalism-provoked climate change.

Companies care most for profit and short-term sustainability. The leaders on top need to show results now, even if hurts them in the future.

It isn't in the nature of a business to care for the welfare of the people, not that would be mutually exclusive. That is why we need a stronger government that works for us, not businesses.

It's almost like companies act like the humans that run them. The core fault of communism is the belief that those in power won't succumb to their own list for power and wealth.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which

Trade the rich business executive with the rich government bureaucrat. In the end, they look and act the same.

that's why vertical hierarchies of authority need to be minimalized

as long as a communist group preserves individual freedom, I'm for it. "from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" is a good mantra

the trouble is, when the politically "enlightened" splinter off and form their own class to supplant the bourgeoisie, how will they react when challenged?

As a pharmacist:

She claims the pharmacist loudly questioned her in front of other customers and rejected her and her doctor's requests to transfer the prescription to another location.

Here. Right here. This is where the pharmacist in question failed. Yes, we are able to refuse to fill and dispense prescriptions depending on state law, but we are then obligated to refer the patient over to a pharmacy where they can receive it.

this seems like the biggest issue. does Arizona's pertinent religious freedom law allow pharmacists to do this?

Arizona is one of six states that allows pharmacies and pharmacists to refuse to fill a prescription on religious or moral grounds.

that's the stupidest shit I've ever heard. unless there's a "public option" for pharmacies (or some other dispensary that is obligated to fulfill any and all requests it is able to), it would basically allow a community to collectively and legally deny medication to certain people, similar to how sundown towns treat non-whites
