Therein lies the problem in my eyes as well. Because of the strict constitutional protections on firearms, it's generally legal, but is legality really the question here, or should we start questioning the broad application and downright worship of the Second Amendment?

I think LegalEagle put it best. It was a severely fucked up situation that was legally justified by a complicated (if not lax) state law, but by reaching that conclusion, if the scenario were reversed and Rosenbaum or someone else had killed Rittenhouse, you'd have to reach the same conclusion to be consistent.

Thank you! I'd been trying to remember the game I played along with Commander Keen, and it was totally Galactix! Man, I put HOURS into that and my dad would get so mad cause I'd be using his desk.

Awesome, I'm happy I'm not the only one that dumped hours into that game! Now I want to download it again, pretty sure it's considered abandonware at this point.

Fun fact: the transformers inside an AC adapter used in "wired" charging implement the same principle, just at a much smaller and more precise scale. The main reason consumer induction charging wasn't used from the get-go is that it's pretty inefficient, and requires special hardware, both for charging and to prevent the device from just spewing nasty interference noise everywhere. As nice as it would be, there's a lot of reasons why you can't just put an Li-ion battery next to something that generates an EM field and expect it to charge.

Are you talking about civil action, or pressing criminal charges? Victims of theft aren't billed for the state's prosecution.

Most people are much, much better off finding a local credit union; most have strict membership requirements, though those can be waived by living within a certain proximity of a branch. I was able to join the Maryland State Employee's Credit Union simply because I happened to live within a stone's throw of one. Downside is, they are very regional or even straight-up local.

RDR2 has its issues and can feel like a "real life simulator" sometimes, but it's leagues above Cyberpunk

People rave because it's got a good story, lots of side quests (even when they're repetitive), and most of all, it's fucking gorgeous. I wouldn't call myself a fanboy, but I definitely don't regret the purchase.
