Drip feeding a few short replies with increasingly outlandish details to make the story bigger and get more attention is classic trolling. "they had a picture together after she lied to me" becomes "btw they were married for 7 years" then becomes "pps, she blocked me on facebook earlier too"?

Hey, if I'm proven wrong, I'll admit I was wrong. Until then, this reads like every fake "Am I the asshole" or "today I fucked up" story that gets posted on reddit for karma and attention.

Let's be honest, gamefaqs isn't the most productive use of anyone's time under normal circumstances, particularly when it comes to frequenting forums.

There isn't much to gain by seeking attention on this site. At worst, we've wasted a couple of moments entertaining a topic that may be real, may be false and in the long run, was simply there on the way to the things we typically hang on this site for.

Why does it matter if it's real or not? Best case you show someone love who needed it, worst case you show someone love who you thought needed it. And if you really do feel like you're being emotionally blackmailed, just scroll past and move on, no need to comment "fake".

I couldve sworn TC said hes been seeing this girl for about a year, but she was married for seven to the ex. Some posters are saying the opposite, so these details change the context IMO.

And I do think that almost everyone here had your best interests at heart. Even the ones who didn't seem "kind" on the surface are providing some helpful life advice.

All the best, I hope you bounce back soon. Are you the kind to take a long time off before pursuing anyone else or do you jump right back in? For better or worse, I have the tendency to do the latter.

Value yourself first before you place value in others my friend, your mental and physical health is just as important as anybody else's.

She claims to 'need' you, but somehow did not over the Christmas period and let a previous flame take your place. Even if children were involved, it wouldn't be hard for the family to maintain relations with the ex / father whilst she and her family entertain you as her love interest as well.

Let the trash take itself out. Let her waste somebody else's time, let someone else be miserable.

She did this one Christmas. Don't let her back into your life. You should not be treated that way.

The onus was on her to start the conversation, instead she chose to hide said information.

This wasn't a mistake, this was a conscious choice, the repercussions of said choice simply came back to bite her in the arse.

I know you're just trolling, but.

1. She told him she was sick, with a fever throwing up all day.

2. She blocked him on facebook so TC couldn't see what was going on.

3. She took her ex to a family event during a holiday and not TC.

She showed that she doesn't respect TC and deliberately deceived him, then gives the "oh I love, care, and need you" line. A previous relationship was more important then the one she is currently in.

This wasn't just "one bad judgement call".

Probably best he wasn't in it for the long haul to be honest.

Being shunned in favour of an ex for a sit down with the family over the holiday period is pretty indicative of said woman not giving enough of a shit about TC or the relationship herself.

The onus isn't on TC to enable her 'mistakes', this wasn't a little white lie. She spent the holiday period with a long-term previous love interest along with her family and lied to TC about it. Made a conscious effort to withhold as much information about what was truly happening as well.

I'll let you continue to waffle on with your nonsense though, whatever floats your boat my man. If my wife had pulled this nonsense a year into our relationship I wouldn't have settled for it either.

Challenge her to a duel in front of an entire virtual stadium as revenge.

Even if she's not cheating the relationship is over. She clearly isn't iver him and values him over you. Having a good friendship with your ex is fine. Lying to your SO to spend Christmas with your ex is not fine.
