Honestly I would just stick to watching Clone Wars, skip the movie and everything else.

Although I don't remember the minisodes so can't comment on their quality. Rebels has some amazing moments but pretty much only when it's paying off story threads from Clone Wars that weren't finished. Otherwise Rebels is just okay.

The Thrawn plotline was very well done and I was glad to hear he will likely be returning in some other media.

Kyle being redeemed is a plot point. It's not really 'writing.' The specifics, the entirety of the lead-up and the actual event is writing. Nuance and detail is what writing is. Just making a plot choice is really immaterial to the quality of writing. You can make bizarre, ridiculous, nonsense choices and back them up with great writing.

#1 - Will Ospreay

Obviously it's Ospreay. Wrestler of the year. Hands down. The most talent worker in the world, he can make a star out of anyone. Hell, throw him in there with Fale, and he'll find three and a half stars. Ospreay is a master wrestler at what has to be his peak. Because how can wrestling get any better than this?

#2 - Jon Moxley

No one has ever seized a new lease on life like Jon Moxley. Escaping the treadmill of mediocrity that was the main event scene of WWE, Moxley immediately made a splash in New Japan for what is, in my estimation, the best G1 ever. Moxley easily proved himself the top brawler of the year in matches that stole my heart, such as his clash with Ishii. Following this up with a US Title run that I adored, Moxley breathed new life into young talent Shota Umino before crossing the ocean again and proving to be the biggest star in AEW (with maybe the exception of Cody), wowing crowds by diving into his brutal bailiwick of blood hardcore matches. All in all, no one deserved a renaissance more than Mox, and it's great to see that coming to fruition.

#3 - Keith Lee

Better than Adam Cole. Better than Johnny Gargano. Better than Ciampa. I'd say Keith Lee is the star with the biggest future in WWE right, now even more than Matt Riddle (Who is my personal favorite on the NXT brand, although he languishes as a second-tier star way too much). Lee has an innate charisma and imposing presence that combine to make him come across with the sort of casual confidence and genial breeziness that made the Rock so great in the late 90s. Lee is also miles better than the Rock in the act of actually wrestling; his series with Dijak floored me to no end, and I can't wait to see what comes next for the big man in 2020.

#4 - Kento Miyahara

Kento Miyahara probably isn't the best wrestler in the world, or even the most charismatic (though that one's more debatable), but he's near the tippy-top of both of those categories. What other fresh-faced, good-looking Ace of the Company would be out here throwing headbutts? Kento is definitely in the conversation of what talent has single-handedly held up a company the most in this century. Cena, Tanahashi, and now Kento Miyahara - that's an elite group of talent, one that Kento easily lands himself with insane charisma and phenomenal matches. Even when he's dipping his toes into his wicked heelish tendencies, he still has a charm about him. Some of the best knees and kicks in the game, Kento's moveset may not be the most electric, but it's certainly the sort of arsenal you like to see in a top star. All in all, you at least have to respect him, even if you don't like him.

#5 - Io Shirai

The Genius of the Sky has been my hands-down favorite women's competitor this year, summoning a truly frightening and yet ridiculously alluring heel character in NXT and stealing the show in her every match. Sure, we could talk about the slowly-overpushed Rhea Ripley and her innate star quality, but WWE cannot screw up a character in Io the way they're starting to do so with Rhea. Io's strength is in her facial expressions and vicious moveset. It's calculating and at the same time unbound with raw anger. There's something to be said for good acting in a wrestling match, summoning emotion to reinforce a fundamentally sound match, and Io is probably the best women's wrestler in the world.

#6 - Lio Rush

A late entry to this list, Lio Rush languished as a lowcard manager with a mouth that both got him into a starring position and out of it just as quickly. Whatever is plaguing Lio in terms of bad attitude problems appears to be at least pushed to the back burner for now, however. Rush's phenomenal Cruiserweight Title run easily pushed AEW into the second-place spot, resurrecting the pioneering style of wrestling that WCW founded in their own cruiserweight division. Lio recently wrapped a title run featuring some of - scratch that - THE best matches in the WWE Cruiserweight Title's entire existence, culminating in a feud with Angel Garza that finally allowed me to see value in Garza's role in WWE. What a master of the lightweight craft; Rush both nails the cruiserweight style of psychology while crafting some breathtaking, innovative sequences.

#7 - Private Party
I've fast become a fan of the dynamic tag duo that summons all of the aerial agility I love in wrestling. In a company based entirely around tag team wrestling, Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy stand out to me as the future. As the Bucks have slowly become less aerodynamic, decreasing their pace, I look at Private Party as my go-to eye-popping openers. The rate at which they've improved, even in just a few months, has been staggering as well.

Just finished the final episode. Absolutely phenomenal, although the resolution for Greef and Cara was a little shoehorned. That aside, brilliant work across the board. Loaded cast, amazing, sparse writing. The music was insanely, insanely good, the cast extremely memorable. I'm totally on-board if this is the quality of work I can expect from these Star Wars/MCU shows.

Also, as a side note, the actress who played the Twi'lek bounty huntress is the first actor to play a character in Harry Potter, Game of Thrones and Star Wars.

Return of the Jedi is a very beautiful, intricately crafted battle on three fronts. The Ewoks ground game, the space-based Death Star assault and Luke's final battle with Vader crescendo beautifully together. It's a dance of sorts, a ballet and an opera on screen. I think the emotional beats are excellent, and the dialogue is surprisingly terse in the film and yet it conveys every necessary emotion. The music in RotJ is what I consider second-best for the series, and Han in a purely comedic role pretty much sealed his position as my favorite Star Wars character.

What Returns has is everything I want in Star Wars. It was the final movement of a fantastic symphony, and it hits every grace note.
