Escaping the treadmill of mediocrity that was the main event scene of WWE, Moxley immediately made a splash in New Japan for what is, in my estimation, the best G1 ever. Moxley easily proved himself the top brawler of the year in matches that stole my heart, such as his clash with Ishii. Following this up with a US Title run that I adored, Moxley breathed new life into young talent Shota Umino before crossing the ocean again and proving to be the biggest star in AEW (with maybe the exception of Cody), wowing crowds by diving into his brutal bailiwick of blood hardcore matches. All in all, no one deserved a renaissance more than Mox, and it's great to see that coming to fruition. --- "It is too easy being monsters. Hell, throw him in there with Fale, and he'll find three and a half stars. Ospreay is a master wrestler at what has to be his peak. After that I fell off hard and just picked it back up again in the last few weeks and it feels fresh again. Most of my great memories come from the experience of playing with friends though.
