I personally do not agree with Bootsy here. If he knew how youtube monetization works, you have to put a lot of ads in your video, because not all of them show up on the video. If you put 6 ad breaks, you may only see 1 or 2. So a lot of content creators put in a lot of ads so that you see 3 or 4 ads (which is a acceptable amount).

I agree with this. He definitely could have prolonged his career more had he made the right choices. As we know from the Buster Douglas fight, Tyson was not properly training for that fight and was very overconfident.

I mean, he did make alot of bad choices but he was also the best in the ring at his prime in his time, so I don't see how he could have left a bigger/better legacy.

Loved the NES Metroid as a kid, but never tried any of the new ones except for zero mission, which I also think is really good. I should be more excited about this new upcoming release, but I don't really care that much. But I'm certainly way more interested than a Metroid prime type of game (not hating on Metroid prime or anything).

I noticed that Suarez is on there, if I ever had a choice I would probably pick him but that's partially because he is a Yoshi main. But also because he's a nice guy and he seems like he would be a good teacher.

Some people like ChunkyKong offer coaching sessions, but a great player doesn't necessarily translate to a great teacher. Imagine Epic Gabriel teaching you how to place smash lmao.

You can start at an entry level position, likely helpdesk. Most corporate helpdesk jobs will train you on what you need to know.

You get better gigs by earning certifications. It would help if you have some basic understanding of technology or at the very least the willingness to learn.

Speaking from experience, I worked 2 years in helpdesk. Even with 2 years of experience, I was unable to find any IT related jobs, outside of other help desk positions, because no one called me back or I would get rejected without an interview. While helpdesk experience is nice, it's not as useful as people might think. A lot of jobs are really looking for that piece of paper.

I feel you on this because I had severe social anxiety, and I hit a "screw it" point and just put myself out there. Inevitably I dated a few before getting married, still married 17 years later. If I didn't take the risk, who the hell knows where i'm at right now.

That's really cool! Had no idea. My wife was telling me the other that I should've gone into track & field when I was younger, and it made me really sad since she's probably right lol.

Watching some ladies weightlifting now. It's pretty neat! (I'm a sucker for buff girls lol)

So far highlight was definitely the debut of BMX freestyle. I used to follow the X Games but fell off of it a few years back. Seeing the kind of crazy shit they can do flying around in the air is incredible.

All I can say is we are only here once. Do you want to leave this world full of regrets and what ifs? Or you can take the potential sting of rejection, and stay afraid and for all you know that one you could have spoken to but didn't may have very well been the one. You just gotta go for it man, get your head out of it, hell take a shot of liquor to get a bit of courage before hand. You'd be surprised how much of a difference an alcohol buzz can make in social situations, and it helps you open up a ton and brush things off easier.

Regardless, you have a time frame, and it doesn't last long before you are in your 40s and alone, and your best days are behind you. Find it in you to make it happen, so you aren't looking back wondering why you didn't.

Thank you. I should mention I am 29 so I'm already almost at the end of my best days lol. Also I've never drank alcohol in my entire life

I recommend a sales job to get over your fear of rejection. Rejection is a natural process. Even really good looking people get rejected because we are taught to fear strangers and most of the time it is true what you said. A person only approaches you because they want something, it might not necessarily be money, it could just be the energy that comes with a good deed etc.

The fact of the matter is this, if you want to stop being single you need to start putting yourself out there, if you look like crap start hitting the gym, eating well and dressing to impress, it is not that hard to find a match in real life. It is a heck of a lot easier than through dating apps. Just be careful bro.

I actually really appreciate you taking time to write this out. You're probably not going to like this, but I actually used to work in sales. I should know better, because eventually I did just kind of lose emotion when it came to getting rejected, and just started offering to the customer without caring. Just do it, that's basically the lesson here.

Sorry I haven't been doing the usual late-night weekend lobbies. I'm wayyy up the Olympics' ass right now lol. It's all we've been watching the last week or so.

This is probably silly, but I don't watch the Olympics because low-key I am still envious. I used to be a big runner when I was in high school but plans didn't work out the way I wanted them to. Even though I was by no means anywhere near qualifying for states, let alone the Olympics.

i don't think about it too often, but there have been social situations where i see a cute ass woman, and a friend tells me to approach her. this situation has happened to everyone, and can happen anywhere. at the store, at a party, whatever.

here's why i think it's impossible to approach that particular person. when i get approached by someone on the street, i automatically assume they're gonna ask me for money or harass me. so by default, i'm going to have a negative opinion about the person who is trying to initiate the conversation. not saying everyone thinks this way, but i do believe a LOT of people do. and i completely understand this. you really can't approach people anymore.

here's where the "me" problem comes in. i'm scared to approach, never know what to say. i fear rejection, i dislike rudeness, and to a very tiny extent, i do feel a little entitled. when i get rejected, it does piss me off a little, and i believe that's because of entitlement. because i'm a decent guy. sorry but just being honest. not saying it's right.

i'm not saying approach strange ass women, but this also applies to meeting people in general, whether it's at a bar or some mutual hobby like yoga or whatever.

truth is i dont know why i made this thread. i did want to come clean, hoping for some good ole sympathy, i like sympathy. but maybe you can talk some sense into me. maybe im being a dumbass.

anyway, to those who read this thank you homie. ce i love you all. anyone else have this issue?
