gg dude. your dedede is very good, no doubt. haven't beat it once and that's saying a lot, because I think the matchup is very much in yoshi's favor. you have really good accuracy with your moves and you're able to stop most of my attempts to approach. I almost quit after that embarrassing 3 stock where I don't even think I got 10% on you. your other characters are good too.

I can empathize with that. When covid first started I gained a little bit of weight, I was eating so much fast food lmao. But I started dieting and I've lost 18 lbs so far. I was never an overly fat guy, weighed about 190 at my peak.

Yeah most guys there are on the young side but there's guys around our age range, late 20s to 30s, and that's fine too. It's a good place to get practice since they have strong players especially the Zelda ones since they're attracted there like lighting. I was a little disappointed with my tier placement yesterday since I have a pretty decent record vs on the people on A tier and have close games with the Zelda player Ilyana. But I can see why since my results on crew battles are pretty poor. Also playing Pichu vs Zelda online isn't very fun lmao but I do pretty good in that MU with Isabelle.

Yeah I think it's tier list was a little flawed. His moderator Nick was ranked a little too high in my opinion, no offense to him. I saw your ranking, and it seems like it would be more difficult to rank you because you play multiple characters, and I don't think you officially regard anyone as your main right now. I wonder what he would have ranked me, and HoboJoe. He definitely would have ranked HoboJoe S tier, no doubt.

gg. your placement of gordos was really good. had so much trouble getting in. the second to last game had me tilted, cuz i totally had it but lost confidence (i always do when im in the lead against a player that is better than me). hopefully i at least gave a good showing. i know its been a while since we have played, and i havent been around the community.

I'm ok with them but I keep fucking it up with Pichu's tjolt and inputting skull bash is bad because how laggy that move is. So practicing b reverses with a character thar makes good use of them is the way to go.

I feel ya, when I fuck up b reverse with Yoshi I egg roll, and that can lead to deaths lol

As for ZSS, Marss did release his own tier list not too long ago.

He put ZSS at the top of A tier, around 12th which I think it's pretty decent when you contrast his own MU chart to some of the Japanese player's MU charts. I think in general American ZSS players are more pessimistic, the reddit mu compilation thread has them giving her 10+ losing MUs, while Japanese players like Kuro and shky give her less than 4 losing MUs.

I noticed you're really into ancient history, and I can respect that. I love European history, although I haven't studied much prior to maybe 1700s. Even then I'm no historian.

Did anyone see hbox get 7th at the 1000-entrant melee tournament? It was hard to watch his stream, because he was very pessimistic in a lot of the games he was playing. I can only imagine what it's like to be number one at something and the stress of maintaining that number one status.

I probably should have said more than this. I love it, haven't had a single problem with it. I bought it because the camera quality had great reviews, and so many online reviews raved about this phone. The only "issue" is just the lack of cases for this phone, because a lot of companies didn't bother with the 3a.

So I practiced wave bouncing a little bit. Since it's a neutral B that I'm trying to wavebounce, I believe I'm supposed to press c stick diagonal + special...but I never perform the wave bounce. Instead Yoshi does his neutral b backwards (which might be nice in some situations, but I'm not trying to do that). I don't know if I'm doing something incorrectly or if neutral b wavebounce does not work with Yoshi. Pretty sure I've seen it done though.

he did offer some help via DM. he showed me a video on wavebouncing (something I didn't even know was a thing), and told me his control scheme in order to perform wavebounces a little easier. he told me that he is mostly good because of his movement. but wow, I forgot how good he was. very good at punishing and using jab locks. really nice guy. he isn't around that much it seems.
