Yar -- aka, after Lich, but before Kary/Kraken/Tiamat. Roughly halfway into the game. Ninja is still weaker with lower HP, although he's often hit for 1 HP much like the Knight. Only redeeming aspect is access to FAST.

Red Mages are stronger than thieves in early game, get access to fast, but swing towards caster/item invoker in the back half of the game rather than "fighter who can cast fast".

FF1 isn't that good. You select 4 husks of people into one of six classes and then go and save the world.

Save points are few; dying at a boss means upwards of an hour lost.

Classes are imba; black mage, black belt, and thief are all generally worse than fighter, red mage, and white mage.

The last 1/3 of the game is mostly just you invoking weapons that cast medium-level black mage to aoe down whatever you're going up against. During boss fights your red/black mage is there to buff your physical fighters.

You're better off playing any of Wizardry 1, Ultima 4, Dragon Warrior 3, or Crystalis.

Simplify the junction system so it doesn't cause power loss on skill use nor the need to slather my face on a monster's junk whenever they have a new spell I'd like 100 of.

Remove enemy level scaling

Make there a little less subtlety about Laguna and his entire arc and relevance to the plot

Improve the weapon/armor system to be more relevant and require less rare mats. I think on my first playthrough I couldn't be assed to do any of it and everyone had default everything.

to an extent. If you're hot, kind, and financially stable you basically get your "pick of the litter" -- this cuts both ways. When you're less conventionally attractive, that's points against you, but surely even a chubby girl can do better than someone who shitposts on CE.

That's gonna be 90% diet and daily calories consumed and 10% your level of physical activity (of which, like 9% is doing ANYTHING while maybe 1% is what specific thing you do)

Pushups are a start, but surely you can like, get some milk jugs filled with sand or dumbells or kettlebells or old textbooks or SOMETHING.

Overhead press, pushups, lunges*, rows, planks, curls. If you can get a door frame pullup bar you'll be set, otherwise you'll be doing bent over rows over a chain or something.

*squats can also work but lunges are easier for at home workout imo

Thanks for the advice. I don't know dick about fitness. What is a set, how many....whatevers do I do in it, and how long should a set last? I can easily throw in some at-home exercise into my daily routine.

A set is series of reps, lasting anywhere from 0:45 to 1:30 (usually), but it's generally just the result of however it takes you to do the reps at a "normal" pace.

Generally there's a short rest inbetween sets, somewhere between 30 seconds to a minute. Some powerlifting routines have you waiting like up to 5 minutes inbetween sets, lol.

Usual template for someone who's trying to gain both strength and muscle mass is "3x8", aka, 3 sets of 8 reps each. This is the result of lots of studies about optimal gains over time. Some people recommend 2x15, and that's also valid. 3x5 is also fine enough.

There's a lot of people trying to put a personal spin on it in order to make a buck -- what matters most is sticking with it, and being proactive in your progress. If you complete all reps and sets, next session either do more reps or heavier reps.

A full run is a little more than an hour. It's easy enough to pick up an old save file but if it's been several days between playing you might forget a few things about your deck or relics on hand.

so we're currently paused in phase 2, which means restaurants and bars are open at 75% capacity, iirc.

phase 3 is stuff like theaters, gyms, and churches, I think.

Pausing phase 2 isn't enough because that's what gotten us this gradual, daily rise in the first place.

Has quite the cult following though. I played through the Demo, never having really played the PSX version.

Loads of fun! Very similar to Ogre Battle; you've got a map and attack squads filled with all sorts of monster/human units, and then the attack squads fight in a tactical duel to defend/gain territory.
