Holy shit, Velius and his 3 demons have a lot of HP in the 300 torment. Velius has over 900k HP by himself. RWed Cloud USB, and used Agrias' BSB 3 times, that got rid of the demons. Was basically out of abilities at the end (Agrias had one more divine cross left), but got him down, and did the 3 CM mission (Orlandu, Agrias, Ramza), along with Tyro and Larsa. Hell of a slog though.

Did a 50 mythril draw on the Type-0 banner, just because. Got LMRs for Deuce and Nine. Oh well, synergy I guess.

Yeah, it's all about stacking buffs. Physical usually 2 buffs is enough (shout and VoF, or something similar), but magic sometimes needs 3. You could get away with 2, depending on your gear. Element boosting gear is just as/potentially more important than your attack/magic stat (unless the difference is 70ish+ between the elemental gear and your top attack/magic option). When I took on Golem, I was confused why Alph and Fujin weren't completely murdering him with their BSBs. All about the buffs.

Still have yet to try any of the other 4 (got Sealion in 35 seconds, Golem in 51). I just get lazy lol. I think I have the means to take down Fenrir, Liquid Flame, and Bismarck, I'm a little leery on Hydra. I have Bartz's USB and Maria's BSB, so it may be doable. Also, Rosa's USB is the MVP of both my successes so far. Magic Blinking Sealion's imperil attack and Golem's interrupt is beyond helpful, to say the least. Hopefully that can make savage withering winds miss, and I need to craft Quick Hit to deal with his physical blink BS.

Also yes, the chocobo racing can be absolutely brutal. First time I ever tried doing it, took my friend and I 3 hours to pull it off. I can do it quicker now, but man the rage. Not to mention those fucking birds literally being there to piss you the fuck off. Not sure why they hate chocobos so much.

One of my more amusing recollections was in an earlier exercise, when blitzballs were flying at Tidus as he tried to ride the chocobo to the finish line. I always imagined Wakka somewhere beyond that, just throwing blitzballs at us, and yelling, "dodge this one, ya?" as he did so. Still makes me crack up to this day.

Ball needs to bounce off of the keeper, I believe, for volley shot to potentially activate. May be wrong, haven't played FF X in waaaay too long (I played the hell outta blitzball too), but I think that's correct.

Yeah, he had one completion of 70 yards to Cohen today, which is where most of his yardage came from. Literally probably the best receiver they have right now, though Kendall Wright isn't awful. Just can't expect Howard to carry 20-30 times every game, he'll break down.

I'd say the Bears coaches need to let Mitch off the leash, but he literally has no one to throw too aside from his tight ends. Josh Bellamy is literally their #2 receiver right now. Then they cut Deonte Thompson, the Bills pick him up, and he goes for 100 yards today.

The Bears D looks to be somewhat legit though. Still play too soft at times, but the secondary has been playing much better the last few weeks. Kyle Fuller is playing out of his mind since he got his job back, and Eddie Jackson was great today. This should be fun to watch all season, and hopefully next season, Mitch has some people to throw to.

Beat all difficulties of the FF 6 (Hidon) torment. The trash rounds, especially in the difficulty 250, were quite annoying. At least a few S/Ls due to berserk by those grenades. With Cloud as drawtaliator, Hidon wasn't bad at all. Just focused him down ASAP.

For the FT version, I decided to race against the Erebus', hopefully killing Hidon before they exploded. I used Relm's BSB, just in case I didn't succeed, so that Last Stand would get everyone living at least. Thankfully, I killed Hidon just before they had their 8th turns.

Took Ayame's BSB off the anniversary one. Not sure what to take from the CT, since I have most of it, and don't really need the others. Maybe Sarah's.

Mastered the 250 and 300 FT difficulties for the FF 5 torment. Having Bartz's USB + him LDed + tornado and quake strike really isn't fair. Main issue was making sure all 3 piglets died around the same time.

Will do the FF 6 torments when my stamina gets back up. Drawtaliate neuters the Erebus', so it's basically just nuking Hidon down.

With the release of dark and holy magicites, I went back to them once again. Visited my old pal Sealion, the only one whom I had beaten before. Bartz is now fully dived, though the first run I took at Sealion never procced a double. Second time, it double procced a few times, and I had honed Blazing Twinstrike to R3 earlier, so it was quite a damage dealer. Managed to improve my time on Sealion to 35.18 seconds.

Went back to Golem to give him another shot too, with my newly legend dived Fujin. Mastered him in 51.90 seconds.

Alph w/BSB+USB (99): R3 Tiamat, R2 Meltdown (World Traveler)

Only used entrust once with OK, the other two bars were him using his own BSB. Only used stitch in time on Fujin's first turn, forgot about it afterwards. Mog's burst is awesome here, providing another layer of mag buff, as well as instant healing whenever needed as Rosa built up her bars. Fujin had 2 wind boosting equipment, Alph had 1. May take another few runs at him, either ditching stitch in time for gust, or just making sure I use it more. Also, debating flipping some RMs around.

Edit: Also, now with 2 magicites done, gotta decide which one to focus on next. I'm thinking Bismarck, as I have TGC's OSB, Shantotto's CSB and BSB, Lightning's BSB2, Rafa's BSB, and likely one or two more I'm forgetting.

Crystal tower draw was awful. Two old SSBs that I already had (and never use). Oh well.

FF6 ultimates were fairly easy. I actually did too much damage too quickly to Umaro, so the second ultimate snowstorm stopped everyone, with only Larsa coming out of it quickly.

Goddess was easy once I got stuff setup. Cloud USB + being legend dived + omega drive, isn't even fair. He was doing about 52k in total with it, and the double hit procced twice. That's over 200k damage right there. Bypassed one of her two lullabies. Just gotta do the jump start, then set up a party for Air Force quickly. Then to torments, then to magicites.

Just got the last batch too. Last battle in the last stage gave me knights that dropped 3 chips.

Finished crystal tower (which I love as a concept). Still gotta do the FF6 event and JS. Once that's done, I'll try the FF5 torment (only did the 200 difficulty in the past) and maybe give the FF11 one a shot. Then it's on to trying the other magicites. Still only beaten Sealion, but I can consistently get him in ~44 seconds.

I'm consistently beating Sealion at about 44 seconds, with the party I listed earlier. Going to try setting up a party for others soon too.

Beat all difficulties for Bahamut torment (FF 3). For JS, I used Cloud, Vaan, Tyro, OK, and Relm. Ark blast is super useful. Likely will give it another try later, subbing Luneth for Cloud, and maybe Arc for Relm for the CM. can definitely do it with Luneth I think, not sure about Arc. Going to try the Golbez/Dragon torment soon too.
