Voting with your wallet is equally as important as communicating to the company WHY you're not purchasing the product. Doing one without the other is pointless at best and harmful at worst - complaining but buying it anyway tells the company you'll support them no matter what, and not buying it without saying why just tells them that you're not interested in the product as a whole.

My place doesn't really train people on the Freestyle machines, so the managers and I are pretty much the only ones who know how to work them. The managers usually have their hands full with other stuff, so more often than not it's me fixing or refilling them. I'll come to work after a day or two off, and three to five things will be empty.

That feeling when you're reading the manual on the way home from just buying a new game..

Manuals were also often necessary for figuring out the story/lore of a game. Though a great many of them screwed up a lot during the translation process.

I've been trying to catch up on Seven Deadly Sins manga. Right now I'm at the point where Meliodas was revived, and Diane and King are in the past.

Honestly, the main reason I don't stay on top of my manga all the time, is that I prefer to download, and downloading is a real pain these days.

One time our grill stopped working, so we couldn't serve any burgers at the time. I told a customer about it and said we had plenty of other options available, and they asked for a grilled chicken sandwich. I told him we couldn't.. "WHY NOT!?"

I am kind of interested in Black Panther, but I rarely go to see movies in theaters. A part of me thought I should support it for obvious reasons, but then I wonder if it's really right to think that way.

How do you prefer the dialog to be handled?

There are pros and cons to each method. If you make it more natural and go more for an adaptation than a direct translation, it's more approachable, but a lot can get lost in translation. If you remain totally faithful to the original, it can feel off at times and will have less mainstream appeal.

I feel like the second method is the worst of both worlds, since you're not getting the real original version and it's not even adapted in a way that's more familiar to you. The best dubs try to find a middle ground between the two options, IMO.

Not bad at all. I'm off work, weather is warmer than it's been in a good while, and I'm actually getting errands done.

I mean I've been single for 32 Valentine's Days in a row, but most of those days were actively bad days for me, so with last year I'm chalking this up as two wins in a row.

I got Izuna recently and haven't gotten far, but Izuna 2 is fantastic. It's a bit on the easy side as far as roguelikes go since leveling is permanent, but it's several different playable characters and it's hilarious.

Also, "Legend of the Unemployed Ninja" is just a great title.
