My nostalgia won't let me play any of the story duels without using the actual deck used in that duel, which makes it a little more difficult. (Had a hell of a time with Joey vs. Mai.)

The original anime caught up with the manga about halfway through its run, at which point it started doing its own thing.

The homunculi probably did have better deaths in Brotherhood, but mainly because they were mostly directly tied to their sin (or even for the ones only loosely connected, they were just plain cooler). But the deaths in the original were more personal, and not just tied to the sin.

The movie is indeed the proper conclusion to that series. I'm not really sure what people didn't like about it (that wasn't already a given from the show's ending), but if you're worried about it not having a bittersweet ending then you can put that fear to bed. No spoilers, but it remains perfectly in keeping with the show's themes of atonement and sacrifice for a greater good.

Also the movie's opening and ending themes are just perfect.

I just started on Yu-Gi-Oh Legacy of the Duelist. Even putting aside all the new cards and features since the last time I played, some rules and regulations have actually changed, so this practically feels like a whole new game.

For as long as I remember, playing a new Field Spell destroys the one currently in play, regardless of what side of the field it's on. I'm playing Legacy of the Duelist and tried to use Wasteland to get rid of Weevil's Forest, but it didn't get rid of it and now both field cards are in play.

I worked with a girl who was home schooled. She was about 19 at the time, and was, and I'm not even trying to be mean here, dumber than a box of ass. Like functionally dumb; so much so that you genuinely worried about her well being. She was barely competent at her job and showed little improvement in several months. She wound up quitting and getting pregnant shortly after, which basically tripled my concerns.

Not sure what your point is. But regardless, it's important to pay attention to what you're ordering. If not, you'll probably wind up paying more than you should. People have ordered a Bacon King (6 strips of bacon) with no bacon, when they could have gotten a Double Whopper with the same ingredients for significantly less money.

Meanwhile, I'm somehow just now finding out that one of my top manga at the moment, Domestic na Kanojo, got an English release last year. Digital only, but it's actually farther along than the damn scans I've been reading.
