It can also show you different cultures, regionalities, or demographics and provide insight into how they live. "Influencers" are lame, but not any worse than actual celebrities. Cam girls/guys are perfectly fine, so are private Snapchats. No shame there. Buzzfeed articles are like modern day Cracked. Esports are perfectly fine. The worst is EASILY Twitch. |

For example, both Revenge of the Nerds and Police Academy were originally going to be much tamer movies until their respective execs said 'make it more like Porky's.' It still holds up for the most part. I just re-watched it two years ago, and it's still one of the funnier comedies. But I can see it getting a lot of backlash for its misogyny. |
