They're not well known cases but my personal cases that I've literally spent years trying to find again but can't.

1. In elementary school, around 1995, our principal had an Australian (?) or NZ (maybe?) folk singer visit and perform for us. She had two songs my friends and I remember and still sing/quote as inside jokes. One was like, "we are the denizens of the world - that's what we are," and another that said, "You know it's true blue. You know it's true blue. Aussie export [?]" Since it was 1995 and the internet was like brand new - I doubt it's documented online. I've tried searching soo many things and can't find anything.
2. There was this thread on B9 about bad music like well over a decade ago, and this band was posted called Church of Hate that was kind of like a Cradle of Filth-ish band. There was a Youtube video of them performing at a venue called Hell's Kitchen (if you look them up - the majority of their videos are at this venue) and they played this hilarious song while mall-goth women spread their asses and pressed their boobs together on stage. The song had these hilarious lyrics like, "fuck me with the fist you fuck yourself with. Dirty little bitch, I know you want it," and "spread your fucking asshole - show it to me!" Since then I've tried to find this video again and can't. I can't even find the song by searching the lyrics verbatim. I even listened to every live video of them I could find looking for the lyrics -- and even listened to tons of their recorded material to try and find the same song, but at no avail. I don't know if it's an obscure cover or what.
3. Back in the Myspace days this Juggalo rapper from the Akron area added my best-friend. His name was DTK (Durrick [sp?] tha Killa). He had these hilarious songs like, "kill yourself you fucking slut. No one gives a fucking fuck. End it all and split your wrists. No one gives a fucking shit." It was all super low production quality. He ended up having a kid who he named Krados (yes, he spelled it that way). My best friend asked him if he still had demo cds for sale, and I think he knew my friend was making fun of him - so he just ignored him. Fast forward - a lot of his newer material is featuring other bad Northeast Ohio rappers and has a weird auto-tuney feel to it, and he wiped a lot of the older material from online. You can still find profiles for him searching him on Google - but none of them have the great oldies like "Valentine's Day," and "Kill yourself."

Hard, hard disagree. Most of the older designs look hideous. All of them do, actually. The 2003 is the worst.

I think the newest design in the cartoon posted is the only one that's tolerable -- and I grew up with lots of Strawberry Shortcake stuff in my house, since I had a half sister who grew up in the seventies/early eighties.

Guess he's not too wimpy anymore.

No - I know we've got a lot of that, too. There's just a lot of the chav stereotype that maybe isn't immediately noticeable to American audiences. Like you said, for one - their dialect is a great example.

One of the best English language horror films of the '00s for sure.

I have read some criticism of the film, though, that it's kind of classist in a way most Americans wouldn't really understand without being British. They're basically all chavs, which are like the British version of "white trash," and some people see the film as being the equivalent of, "this person is a hillbilly so they must be uneducated and scary"

This is not a matter of disagreeing that the Cubs aren't going to make the postseason or that parmesan cheese is bad.

This is an opinion that very much tends to be very closely associated with bigotry against trans people. Especially so when people are very vocal about their belief.

Most people arent belligerently bigoted. A normal person can think there are only two genders and still respect trans people. Since trans people are one of two genders.

I don't think it's healthy to think in such extremes. I'm sure there are plenty of people who have that opinion who aren't actively going out and "trying to eliminate trans people."

It doesn't affect me. She's not going to agree with me on every single topic, and I don't expect her to because I'm not a child.

Never played that gen - but I felt like the idea was stupid. They gave them to some already good Pokemon, which was dumb. Having to take up an item slot was dumb, too. Plus most of them are ugly. I think it's cool that they gave Heracross and Pinsir something - but just a whole new evolution or something would be cooler.

I did pick sandile -- and my first three encounters (I play Nuzlocke rules) were voltorb, beheeyem, and carvanha.

Nice diversity so far kinda. My sandile has some fighting/ground type moves-- nobody revenge. The beheeyem has some grass/psychic moves. Carvanha has dark/ice/water moves. Voltorb is basically pure electric.

If you're just talking about the meat then it's chicken easily. I was vegetarian for 6 years and pescetarian for like 4 -- and even still I'm fine eating mock meat/meat analogues and love tofu/seitan. Beef was never, ever something I missed. I use ground turkey in place of ground meat for literally everything, and steak is the whackest, most overrated shit ever -- same with most pork products. Literally almost anything I would want to eat that's generally made with cow or pig I can make with poultry and it'll be better.

Idk I love Shin Megami Tensei 5, but I know long-time fans of the series don't love it. Dragon Quest 11 is honestly my third favorite in the series after 3 and 5. Symphony of War is great if you don't mind RPG Maker XP sprites in cutscenes.

I wouldn't want to support something that's made by Apple tbh.

But:

I honestly like BK's OG spicy crispy chicken more than the spicy Chic'King.

Like my gf and I just got the new Wing Stop sandwiches today and they literally tasted so bad. The bun was like absolutely vile -- it was like McDonald's bread exaggerated.
Shake Shack is okay but massively overpriced and nowhere near as good as Popeyes. Wendy's is okay but not great. BK is okay but not great. McDonald's is obviously gross. Chick Fil'A is bland as fuck.

K? Which Dragon Quest? Because the SNES version of 3 and 5 were JPN exclusive. The version of Ogre Battle on PSX was superior to the one on SNES and way more accessible. Secret of Mana is whatever. I'll give you Earthbound, SMRPG, and FF6 (FF5 is JPN exclusive, again).

PSX had the US release of Tactics Ogre, the superior version of Ogre Battle, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy 7, Breath of Fire 3 (the best game in the franchise), the Arc the Lad Collection, Suikoden 1 and 2, SOTN, Diablo, the only US release in the Torneko Mystery Dungeon series, Vandal Hearts 1 and 2 -- and tons and tons of other above-average JRPGs (the early Persona games, Saiyuki Journey West, tons of Lunar games, Brigandine, etc.)

I can see the argument for SNES being the best console ever - but I'm strictly talking about RPGs. PSX beats SNES when it comes to RPGs. Maybe if you're including Japan exclusives it's a bit closer.

He was pointing out that current Nintendo was doing good on the JRPG front as a reply to the "true 25 years later" comment. It would also not make any sense to stick it at the PS1 or SNES time frame as Disgaea didn't come out until the PS2. Heck, it wouldn't even make sense to even put it as a "win for Nintendo" unless you were explicitly talking about the Switch as that is the only time they've moved over to Nintendo. Ogre Battle is the only one that you really could view as a "back then" game series, but as you pointed out they're coming out with a remake as a Switch exclusive (as far as I know) + Triangle Strategy has a lot in common with Ogre Battle and could be argued as a straight spiritual sequel.

I was confused by the inclusion of Disgaea but felt like whatever. But fine - I just misread the context of whatever was going on earlier in the thread.

Eh, his point was correct. His argument was what was wrong. Beyond his argument it's pretty clear that Nintendo is the big winner for JRPGs by a comfortable margin. There are some solid PS4/5 JRPGs, but the vast majority are ones like P5R or DQ11 where they also exist on the Switch and those are also the "big winners" for the console itself. Especially if you also include PC as a viable way to play the JRPGs as an alternative as between Switch and PC there aren't exactly any JRPGs worth talking about otherwise. Inversely there are plenty of ones exclusive to Nintendo, Triangle Strategy, Xeno 3, etc., that are both in the "are system sellers" and "isn't available anywhere else" (though in the case of Triangle Strategy it is likely to get a PC version eventually).

They were talking about back then, I thought? Because PS1 definitely surpassed SNES over time. Maybe you're right if you're talking about current gens.

Disgaea has been on Sony from the start, having a few ports for the Switch or whatever hardly negates the fact that it's yet another series that's stuck by Sony for several console generationds.
Ogre Battle is a dead series.

Ogre Battle's not dead. They're literally making a remaster of Tactics Ogre right now that's releasing in November.
But his point was still wrong, though. Ogre Battle 64 was N64 exclusive -- but most westerners played Tactics Ogre and March of the Black Queen on PSX, and Knight of Lodis was such an insignificant title on the GBA.

Literally the only N64 games I even remotely cared about were Mario Party 2, Mario Party 3, Ogre Battle 64, Mario Golf, Pokemon Puzzle League, and Super Smash Bros.
Everyone is saying it was MoRe ComMunAl as if kids weren't playing 2 player Tony Hawk, Twisted Metal, Super Puzzle Fighter, etc. on PS1

The real communal system was Sega Genesis. As far as N64 and PSX they felt about same-ish in that regard.
