Not a good test flight. SpaceX will now probably beat them to a manned launch early next year.

I don't think the spacecraft will make it to ISS but Boeing might be able to get it back to earth in one piece.

A stackable cooling solution isn't a bad idea for a dev kit. If the final version keeps it, then yeah.

The size of the consoles is surprising.

Maybe fitting everything in a NUC is asking too much, but I cannot see any earthly reason why the PS5 or XSX need to be bigger than predecessors.

The power to keep it competitive with gaming PCs for its entire life? Maybe. But even with the baggage of an optical drive, I was hoping things could shrink somewhat. Gaming laptop internal layouts are tiny.

Stadia and xCloud point to a plausible future where your console is a dumb terminal for streamed or casted content. This might be the last generation. In the next 6-7 years, the era of silicon-only computing may end and 5G will be fully realized.

An SD card would still run circles around an HDD at a fraction of the physical size of an SSD. If Nintendo can make wear-tolerant SD cards and cartridges, there's no reason for Sony to go the extra mile.

Is it really games on SSD or just easily-expanded storage?

I would expect the PS5 to have an internal SSD, at least 500GB, and then Sony sells upgrades.

But yeah... games on a hot-swappable SSD. Didn't ever consider that. Sounds really unnecessary and not what's going to happen.

Downloading a game digitally still sounds more ideal. I only grab the multiplayer part and as needed, a campaign mode. How much bigger are these games going to get? They're already 75% needlessly uncompressed audio.

Games on BD should be a non-starter for next gen. That slot should only be for your movie collection.

Loooool. It gets better. I called them to downgrade to a compact and got an even better deal than the website for the same car. Total is now $80 cheaper and I'll be refunded that instead of the $30 I expected.

I just hope that thing has Android Auto. These cars should all have XM hardware and touch screens standard even if disabled.

35% off the base rate and then $25 off stacked on top. I wasn't aware that web designers even allowed that kind of stuff anymore but the site has 2 (technically 3) distinct discount fields. Had to mix codes from Honey and Slickdeals and I will never bad-mouth either extension/app ever again. Everything else online was at least $100 more or even double what I paid. Budget figured out how to make a car rental customer for life.

I had caught the original trilogy on TV a few times as a kid. Earliest memory is the end of the Cloud City duel. The hand removal and reveal really stuck with me. I think I saw the special edition, or at least the first, in theaters.

From then on, I was hooked.

Even watched Thumb Wars on TV the night before Phantom Menace premiered.

I didn't understand the obsessions with hand chops until the audience loudly gasped when Anakin lost his against Dooku.

Clones and Sith still suck.

Dosing seems to be very important with Dab. If you want just a hint of flavor and a tingle, a drop or grain of rice is plenty, maybe even too much.

It's good enough on its own as a dip or wing sauce, but it's definitely more suited for being part of a dish where it can compete with other flavors. I say "compete" lightly because of the dosing. Too much can overwhelm.

The smell is quite something.
