Theres a lot of charm but not an ounce of soul if that makes any sense. These characters have been around for years and are hollow as fuck. They havent spent any time building on them. Theyve given them some personality and made up some backstory but if this is Overwatch 2 how is it building on zero character development

They could have made me give a shit. But I just dont.

I feel this. Look at most of their shorts and the trailer for the first one compared to this. Hell, this didn't even confirm if ANY of the characters have joined the new Overwatch.

So... it's $60 for the single-player campaign, huh?

My cynical self thinks this whole move is to have a version of OW without lootboxes that they can sell in countries where it's now banned, but keep the old version for countries where it isn't. That's the only reason I could see it coming out this soon and with the full BC with the old version.
