For better or worse. It wasn't too important until much later during one of the most braindead decisions in Trek history.

I look at Tainer very differently after watching Picard. For the better.

Gambit plays like a discarded movie plot but it's pretty good.

Interface is one of the worst bottle episodes. You don't even see the probe past the first few seconds of the episode.

Almost all of the episode relies on your imagination to make sense of what's happening.

I stopped distro hopping after I found Arch-based distributions to be the logical end game.

They didnt have to re-invent the wheel to separate the main thrusters.

They've done a ton of Raptor tests on the ground. Didn't even have the newest ones for this flight. Regardless, it's a lot of points of failure. At least the igniters are electric.

Which is why you should do more tests before the whole rocket is put together to prevent it from exploding.

When the rocket doesn't cost a billion dollars like the govt one, you can afford to repeatedly do tests like this.

The alternative is doing endless paperwork and years between test launches.

And Starliner is failing both.
