Not that my last job was the worst in the world, but it felt like a sinking ship and I felt like I wasn't getting any closer to my goals. Now I've been feeling a lot more relaxed and at ease, especially since I'm getting paid more than any other employer I've been with. BlazinBlue88 posted... Keep in mind, the field is extremely broad. There are a few areas I absolutely hate while others I really enjoy. I'm still trying to figure out what I really gravitate towards, but I know it's still early for me. My company has been talking about migrating to Azure and fortunately, I've been studying to take the AZ-104 so cloud technology is definitely an area of interest for me. I'm also liking the cybersecurity aspect of IT as well. I also get really giddy whenever I get the chance to do something in Active Directory for whatever reason. --- I have nothing else to say |

Work 100% remote and I'm only working with internal users. Work has been steady but never really unmanageable so plenty of down time while still feeling like I'm keeping busy. Officially my role is Service Desk Administrator so I'm mostly responsible for making sure tickets are getting distributed to the right people, but I'll also take on some of the simpler, easier-to-troubleshoot tickets for myself. Wasn't really sure if I'd be right for this industry, but given that I'm liking my job and people seem to think I'm doing a good job, I think I'm finally in the right place. --- I have nothing else to say |
