I just thought about how he keeps deleting his old videos so people forget that he used to be funnier

The newer stuff he did before I stopped watching / he became a racist didn't even have any effort put into it, he basically just became a reaction channel where he'd just watch YouTube and say "oh that's silly"

Yeah, once Dan stopped trying to be incredibly high-energy and just chilled out, he became incredible. You could really tell when he was first brought on to the role he was trying to fill Jon's "just make loud noises" gap and it took a while for him to let his actual personality and wit come through.
