Checked another spoiler source, and it looks like you're right. Still strange that Johnny is moving up, unless they write Johnny back into NXT somehow. If I had to play booker, I'd have Ciampa get a title shot and Johnny would screw him, thus making Ciampa demand Johnny be reinstated and then they have their blow off. Otherwise, it just seems weird unless they want him to win the 205 Live tournament or something, but then you still leave Ciampa kind of in the dust.

So uh, the NXT taping spoilers are a bit odd.

Andrade Almas beats Johnny Gargano in a rematch where Johnny has to leave NXT forever. And... it just happens and Johnny is gone. All Tommasso Ciampa does is wave good bye. Why in the world would they not give us Ciampa vs Gargano before Johnny gets a call up?

Accessible like legal, but not having to hunt down a DVD purchase.

Also, just saw The Open House. It is a tremendous you bad Netflix original movie. Like, so bad. So very, very bad. It has possibly the most infuriatingly outrageous scene I have ever seen in a home invasion movie. I'll spoil a bit.

infuriating scene is where the killer somehow pins the main character to the ground and effortlessly takes his contacts out of his eyes in order to make it so he can't see him.

This movie is all red herrings, and that is fine, but they decided to make them all red herrings to reveal that it's actually impossible to figure out who the killer is at all. There is no motivation explained. It's just some fucking dude who kills people who have open houses. It's asinine.

It's also just so god damn mean spirited too. The mom and son in this movie are just two people drawn a shitty card and trying to live and reconcile after the husband/father's death. And then they are tortured and murdered like nothing, which feels like nothing because they didn't write a meaningful climax to their relationship. I really struggle to think of a movie that just makes such horrible decisions with it's story as this.

Literally no indication of who the killer is. And all the red herrings are like, never built upon except one that is such an obvious red herring that there is no shock except to say "I can't believe this dude isn't dead yet." Impressively bad movie.

Yeah, this may or may not be good. It's actually being written by John Krasowski (sp?) who is starring in it, and his wife is also in it. I'm a bit nervous that it's not being made on merit of how good it is but rather just as a favor to John who had a cool idea for a movie. I really, really hope it turns out well. Because it's a very cool concept.

They're a team because they needed an excuse to debut a bunch of girls for the Royal Rumble. But I enjoy them as a team more than Absolution, who I think fits together even worse. I think they could have given Ruby a better posse. If you needed to debut all of these girls, make the teams Paige, Ruby, and Sonya as a group and then have Mandy, Liv, and... well, Sarah Logan doesn't fit anywhere. Give her a total gimmick makeover.

But they really should have debuted Peyton and Billie anyway. They already have a gimmick and could have done everything the other girls could with ten times the personality. Hell, have Mandy debut with them and have her be the ring leader and Billie and Peyton just laugh and be Peyton and Billie about everything with Mandy keeping them in line.

There would be no Women's Royal Rumble if it weren't for Rousey becoming so prolific in UFC and they'd still be wrestling constant three minute matches. And not only that, Nia is a botch machine that WWE wouldn't have signed if she weren't related to Rock.

Also, they had no Rousey follow up? I guess it is hard since she's filming the movie, but man. If they kept up with the momentum of hype from her then I imagine people would tune in far more. I feel like they rarely ever capitalize on their biggest storylines from the PPVs the following day.

So last night I think the thing we all laughed about the Ronda Rousey ordeal was the announcers shouting "STEPHANIE!? WHAT IS RONDA DOING HERE!? WHAT IS SHE DOING!?" And Stephanie says "I dunno".

Doesn't really matter though. It's like when people bought stock in Nintendo during the Pokemon Go boom. It didn't have anything to do with Nintendo, but since it was associated with it, people thought that and bought it.

XFL is associated with WWE as a massive stupid embarrassing failure, so people are going to sell hard. Unless Vince is able to spin this is a tremendous new idea.
