I didn't realize you guys had difficulty finding showings for off-beat movies. There's a theater walking distance from me that shows exclusively weird movies like this.

Yeah, I have to drive 1.5 hours to get to the closest one in Pittsburgh, which is no big deal for me. I usually just make more plans so it's not like that's all I go down there for. But all that was playing was Disaster Artist, with no Shape of Water. They were also playing Lady Bird. There were only two theaters by Pittsburgh who play any of those.

In Wheeling, where I live by, there is nothing in terms of limited releases playing anywhere around there.

There's a fairly big theater in Cleveland though that apparently plays a ton of them. But consider that you have to drive the entire length of Ohio to get there. I'm sure they have some in Columbus too, but that's still quite a hike.

Limited Release. There was a preview for it before Disaster Artist that said it has been out for two weeks. We couldn't find a single showing around Pittsburgh, but there's one in Cleveland. So since we'll be going up there for Christmas, we'll be able to catch it!

So I guess Lillian Garcia had Paige on her podcast and Paige was really candid about it. Apparently she had a lot more issues with drugs and alcohol than we had thought when she was with Alberto. But during it, she owned up to basically everything and admitted she had messed up and has worked hard to get better. She's currently in AA and mental therapy and has said she's learned everything she did during that time was wrong.

I wish she had learned that a lot sooner, but I'm glad she was able to do a complete turnaround for her sake.

I only played the main story on normal. :( How much can you unlock by playing it on Hard? This will determine if I go back and play it again or not.

Anyone else I can take or leave them.

And I didn't really like anyone of the main cast enough to stick it out, and I think that's a major reason I dropped out of the game. So hopefully I love one of these characters more!

On Jericho's podcast New Day was on there and they talked about how they weren't into Vince's idea and they didn't think it would get over and Jericho said that Vince must have known the crowd would had it. But they all swore up and down that Vince thought it would get over and was upset when the crowd first turned on them, because Vince believed in it so much and knew how hard the New Day tried with it.

Jericho could absolutely not believe that Vince thought it would actually get them over as baby faces and that it must have been his plan, but New Day kept saying that Vince was confident they'd get over.

Okay, now you see? This batch of characters in Season 3 is something to get hype for.

I had zero interest in Season 2. I didn't care about these new characters. Some seemed like they may have been fun to play, but I just did not care.

But we have a healthy mix or new and old characters this time. I want to see how they play and try them out except for Blanka obviously. Like Sagat and Cody alone are enough for me to be hype. And I am more interested in these two new characters than I am with any of the ones in Season 2.

I have no idea why they didn't do something like this for Season 2. This game would be in better shape if they did. I'm still not sure if I'm going to be interested in SFV or enjoy it, but I'm definitely willing to give it another shot now.

Glad it's a reboot. After the mess of the last game, that's all you can do.

I think it would be good if they just started over the story entirely though, kind of MK style. Have someone else get the Soul Edge at the beginning. Have a totally different Nightmare. Stuff like that.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Season 5 was a total fluke. They lucked into a good season there.

These writers have no clue how to make a compelling story at all. They just stumble there way into making something alright. Or they end up striking gold with something like Slade. I have no idea how they managed to make those two good episodes while the rest has just totally sucked.

Apparently the Jimmy Jacobs release isn't as ridiculous as we all thought. Apparently he was in Rehab for a month before he was released and when he came back, he admits he didn't care about the job too much any longer and while he didn't really try to get fired, he never made steps to not get fired.

It was an alright Talk is Jericho interview. If only to kind of show how weird the writing process is for this show.

Well, no. He's argued that because of his beliefs, he hasn't done anything with alcohol on it, anything to do with Halloween, sex-related, and anti-American among other things as well. So it's being framed as more of not an issue of wanting to uphold the Christian values that his bakery have held.

Yup, was just talking with someone who said whether gay porn does testing or not (she believes they do), this guy would most definitely be tested before shooting.

Out of curiosity, I did a little more research on this.

Only about half of the studios specializing in gay sex do testing for this according to a few articles I found, although these were from a year to a few years old, so that may have changed. But apparently the main scare is that you must wait 14 days for an HIV test and 3-5 weeks for other STD tests, which means that there's a chance that you could become infected in those two weeks before you shoot.

There was actually a case of a guy who was unknowingly infected last year where he took the test, got infected, had sex with multiple men, then went on to have sex with a woman for a shoot and the men didn't get HIV, but the woman did.

For that reason alone, it seems reasonable that she would say no and have a negative outlook on this.

The rationale, as I understand it, is that male gay pornstars do not go through the same testing as straight men who do porn because gay men don't have to get tested since gay porn always requires use of a condom. Because of this, the belief is that it's easier to catch something from a man who does gay porn as a result.

What it means is that Hugh Jackman will likely fulfill his promises and play Wolverine one last time in an Avengers film.

They won't use Hugh Jackman for Wolverine again. He's too old and they'd want to get someone new.

Hopefully this also means we can just abandon the new X-Men movie (not sure how far they are into making it) and they can just focus on something new. Does anyone care about the new X-Men movie with how bad Apocalypse was?

Supergirl was actually a really good midseason finale. Genuinely interested in where it goes (except for everything James related, obviously).

Flash was really fun and I did not expect the twist. This should also be interesting. But if Barry reveals to the world that he's the Flash before Oliver reveals he's Green Arrow, that will be so maddening.

Legends was fun as always. Should be interesting how the rest of the season goes. Really want to know who Mallus is.

I have absolutely no faith in Arrow tomorrow though. None. This season has been so all over the place and it barely seems cohesive at this point with plot threads everywhere. Plus Olicity marriage out of nowhere. Plus the fact that they still haven't shown freaking Richard Dragon yet, and they have made Michael Emerson's character just a giant who gives a shit. This season is the drizzling shits. Season 4 was just anger-inducingly bad. But this is just boring for the most part.
