What MWC apparently thinks happened:
WWE went to a bunch of charities. Said "YOU COULD WIN $100,000 OMG AREN'T YOU SO EXCITED?! HOPE YOUR TEAM WINS!"

Good for Gargano. Been one of the top 20 or 25 wrestlers in the world for probably the last ten years and he's finally getting the recognition he deserves.

I don't know what the issue with Almas was at first, but man. He's really started to kick it into gear probably a little bit before his losing streak and has become really amazing.

Zelina Vega helps a lot too. Hope they start letting her wrestle though.

MWC I usually dont argue with you man, but this is the same as an episode of something like Saved by the Bell where they have to raise money for charity or something. Its not a real competition, its a tv show with an arc about trying to raise money for a new court for the basketball team before the big game, and in the process they are giving out real money to the charities that inspired the shows episode

You can safely assume he's saying this to get a reaction, not cause he believes in any of it.

That's fine. But in this case they are giving more money to the charity that the Saved by the Bell characters raises the most money on the show.

So uh, the NXT taping spoilers are a bit odd.

Andrade Almas beats Johnny Gargano in a rematch where Johnny has to leave NXT forever. And... it just happens and Johnny is gone. All Tommasso Ciampa does is wave good bye. Why in the world would they not give us Ciampa vs Gargano before Johnny gets a call up?

Checked another spoiler source, and it looks like you're right. Still strange that Johnny is moving up, unless they write Johnny back into NXT somehow. If I had to play booker, I'd have Ciampa get a title shot and Johnny would screw him, thus making Ciampa demand Johnny be reinstated and then they have their blow off. Otherwise, it just seems weird unless they want him to win the 205 Live tournament or something, but then you still leave Ciampa kind of in the dust.

Finally updated my spreadsheet of main event appearances for WWE ppvs. Nothing changed for the top 10, as the Royal Rumble's main event was the Women's Rumble. Cena is expected to finally break the tie for #1 with the Undertaker when he main events at Elimination Chamber (assuming the chamber for #1 contendership is the main event this time >_>). Otherwise, the top 10 is still the following...

1) Cena - 69
1) Undertaker - 69
3) HHH - 68
4) HBK - 49
5) Orton - 48
6) Austin - 41
