Like, literally, I'm not even exaggerating. And now the public perception of the Gamestop people in the public is a bad one. And they didn't even do anything like a catchy slogan. Well it's the same with cops, the Media will form up Voltron to protect cops, saying literally anything they want (propagana, outright lies) to sway the public so you could say yes it is hopeless, but only hopeless in the sense of courting the stupid who are too dumb to research on their own. It's not a hopefless fight. |

There have been a million stories. But I remember this one particular instance, "we're here, we're queer, get used to it!" was much maligned as too aggressive, and people in the community just wanted us to tone down being gay, just act straight, to appease the non-LGBT watching but that doesn't work because it doesn't matter how you act it's your policy that they don't like and anything else is just an excuse to not like it. They will find another excuse. |

| PerfectChaosZ 02/06/21 2:19:44 PM #6 | I may not be a great judge because as a kid I was into all of these at the same time and didn't hang with the bigger kid groups much but I remember in grade school we played Ninja Turtles in 2nd-thirdish grade and Power Rangers in I wanna say 4th-5ish grade with no other pretend in between. And that was something the other kids said too because most of the other stuff on your list was more niche with one random kid or three maybe knowing who Batman was. Southern kids weren't really gamers whatsoever except me and the nerds with the odd kid maybe having Street Fighter or MADDEN but no one really talked about it. It took till High School before people freely admitted to playing FPS games and we all played Halo. No one knew X-Men back then but me, and Marvel wasn't very popular in general at all in my childhood, well before the MCU. |

So now you have dumb people with all the degrees and they think they're getting better jobs based on their merit and not their wealth because they paid a bazillion dollars for a paper with a sticker on it that says "Great job!" So these dumb people become the boss! And if this was a problem it would get worse every generation wouldn't it? So what a minute- you're telling me that if you increase the price of colleges only the dumbest richest people will get the best jobs? Wouldn't that hurt the entire country? Well let's see if we can observe this in society; yes! Take a look at our government because is run by some of the dumbest people in the entire world. On both sides! They're idiots! And it's only gotten worse. They just keep getting dumber! And it trickles all the way down! The bosses are the dumbest and richest and then their dumbass kids get the advantage and are even dumber!
