There was also that Battletoads/Double Dragon game, but that was too blatant to be a good cameo for either side. Maybe it would've been different if, prior to the game coming out, I'd thought, "You know, the Battletoads and Double Dragon games are pretty similar---they should cross over!"

At least according to him, it's pretty clear from the historical record that the Second Amendment was added so that states would be allowed to have their own militias, not so that people could defend themselves (the latter being a right that apparently is so basic to U.S. common-law tradition that it doesn't need to be spelled out in the Constitution).

FYI, if a guy beat up another guy for grabbing his (the first guy's) girlfriend's butt, I hope I'd have enough sense to say that the first guy also went too far.

I agree that this woman probably deterred that guy and other guys from groping women; I'm just not sure she should get away with no punishment, since she doesn't seem to have acted in pure self defense. But since she was provoked, that should be a mitigating circumstance.

Any thoughts? Clearly the guy shouldn't have grabbed her butt, but do you think she went too far? It seems that she wasn't hitting him in self defense; it seems she went after the guy as he was walking away. I hope she got the right guy.

No, it was the fact that it was a giant deli-sized pickle being eaten all at once that was a little disgusting to me.

Like, you're at an outdoor fair, you see big pickles being sold out of a barrel, you buy one of them, you wrap a paper towel around the bottom of it, and then you walk around for a while eating the pickle from the top down as if it was a popsicle?

I saw a kid doing this once. It seemed a little disgusting to me, but who knows?

I don't remember much specific about it, but I recall it being fun and that the whole concept of circling enemies to catch them didn't get old.

It was similar to the first Pokemon Ranger game, but it was less frustrating (though the first game was also good).

I hate to say it, but it seems like this girl has decided she didn't mean to click "like" for you and is now trying to act like she never did. Maybe if she seems really great, you could give her a month and email her again with something like, "Hey, I thought we had a lot in common, so if you still want to talk, feel free to email me back," but anything more will probably seem like stalking to her.

I thought it was just going to be Reba in Colonel Sanders clothes, which, since I think Reba is still pretty hot, I was looking forward to seeing. But it seems that it's actually Reba made up to look like Colonel Sanders, which looks creepy to me.

I voted for "some of it", because I'm going to watch it until the Eagles fall behind. Actually, after the Patriots score the points that put them ahead, I'll give the Eagles one possession to tie or get back ahead.

Of course, that's what I did when the Eagles were playing the Vikings, and so I turned the game off after the Eagles' first possession and never saw the Eagles get ahead and ultimately win. >_>

FYI, as a U.S. citizen, I get the impression from most of the trustworthy media that anything the U.S. does, Canada does better. The only downside I can see---and this could be just a stereotype---is that Canadians seem inordinately concerned about not offending people, beyond the usual not using words that ethnic groups regard as slurs against them. Is that accurate?

I'm not Canadian, but couldn't they have just changed it to "in all thy folk command"?

I've seen Elton twice, but I'm not sure I'm going to try to see him on this tour. I think he's great, but he doesn't sound too good live these days. Also, he'll probably be playing almost all "hits", and his "hits" are generally not my favorite songs of his.

Okay, I ate some last night. The fries themselves were good; they had a nice spicy taste that most fast-food fries don't have. However, the nacho cheese sauce seemed to have no taste. At least it stayed on the fries when I dipped them in it; the review I linked to above said that the sauce barely stayed on the fries at all, but that wasn't what I found.

So maybe I'll get them again some time. They're only $1.07 after tax, which is cheaper than most snacks. I don't feel a need to get them every day or anything.

I'm voting "No, but I used to like playing it"; at least I'm pretty sure I did as a kid. I suspect, however, that if I played it again today, it would get boring very fast due to the complete lack of skill. The game boards and boxes are still pretty to me, though.

I guess people like me aren't helping with our "Is this girl hot?" topics. But when I do a topic like that, I'm usually saying, "This girl turns me on. What do you think?"; very rarely do I ask for opinions about a girl that I think is ugly.
