No, the odds of winning are always too small. Actually, maybe when the prize is really big, the expected payoff is bigger than the price of one ticket (assuming you're the only winner, which could easily not be the case), but the absolute odds of winning are still so small that I can't care enough to track that.

My parents sometimes get me scratch-off lottery tickets for my birthday and Christmas, and while they never get me more than a few dollars' worth, I always wish they'd spent that money on something else for me.

I think it's fine as long as the lesbian calmly tells the trans woman that she's not sexually attracted to penises. I don't think anybody has a duty to be sexually attracted to anyone.

I thought that too at first, but this guy says that the writers of the Fourteenth Amendment did consider unborn humans to be people. I don't know what the counter-evidence is; I'm sure there is some.

In the second link (I didn't read the whole thing), he says that the "born or naturalized" phrase tells only what's necessary to be a citizen of the U.S., not what's necessary to be a person; and that the equal protection part of the Fourteenth Amendment applies to all people, not just citizens.

Obviously, if he's right, the Constitution could be amended to state that humans become legal people only at birth. There probably would be a lot of support for such an amendment.

And to answer my other question, I think she's pretty. Maybe she's technically overweight, but she carries it well. I also like her eyes, which is odd because she clearly has eye makeup on, and I usually find visible makeup to be a case of trying too hard.

Most people say it's a better game, with a better translation, on the DS.

Still, it doesn't seem as iconic with the DS's 3D graphics. The Game Boy Advance version could've been the best version all around if it didn't have bugs and slowdown (though I didn't notice anything when I played it without any other version to compare it to).

I wouldn't have kicked her out, but that's because she seems to me to be more a dope who's in over her head than someone who actually agrees with all of Trump's policies. If the owner of that restaurant thought differently, I can see why she would've kicked Sarah Huckabee Sanders out.

Also, from what I've read, a company is legally allowed to refuse service to anyone, unless the company is doing it because of that person's race, sex, or one of a few other attributes.

I live in an area with "Private Property - No Trespassing" signs around it and where your car will be towed if you park there without a permit, but there's nothing keeping people out. Anyone can drive or walk in without having to show ID. Does that count as a gated community to you all?

Any thoughts? It does seem like the cops were too rough when they arrested the guy; at least they could've taken off his book bag before they handcuffed him with his hands behind his back. But I am a little glad to see the guy get in trouble for thinking he could just walk away from the cops without giving them his ID. I also wonder if all his backtalk and his mentioning that he's specifically a "Ph.D. student" was meant to communicate to the cops that he was superior to them.
