I voted for Alyson Hannigan because she looks like she'd be freakier in bed. I'm probably assuming she's like the girl in American Pie in real life.

She's average looking, but from the few interviews with her that I just watched, she seems to have a personality that brings her up to hot.

In contrast, Melissa McCarthy is just too bloatedly fat for her personality to make her attractive, to me at least.

I just beat the main stories; I didn't 100% any of these. So, starting with the one I beat earliest and going forward:

As you can guess, I was replaying all the Donkey Kong Country--related games I had in order. >_> I'd beaten all of them before, except for DK: Jungle Climber, which I beat after ~10 years. I hadn't been playing it constantly; I'd gotten up to the final boss the first time I'd tried beating the game, couldn't get any further, then stopped playing until recently, when I deleted my save and started over. This time, I'm not sure I beat the final boss the way I was "supposed" to, but I didn't use a bug or anything.

I thought Jar Jar was funny.

I don't know what the law is, but if you cause a gun to shoot off and hurt somebody, shouldn't you get some punishment for that, even if you did it by accident? I thought you were supposed to be careful enough handling guns to keep accidents like that from happening.

Down a bit, she says, "I am not okay with innocent men being persecuted. But I am rejecting the argument that this risk outweighs the benefits of opening these floodgates." I hope for her sake that that's what she meant to say the first time; that does seem to contradict her opening statement, "I'm actually not at all concerned about innocent men losing their jobs over false sexual assault/harassment allegations" (my emphasis).

Do you think that many feminists think this? I hope the answer is no. Surely a decent person would at least say it's a bad thing when somebody gets in trouble for something they didn't do, but that at some point you have to assume there's enough evidence that a person did something? You don't just say "whatever" about the possibility of innocent people getting in trouble.

Later in the thread she said she meant that she didn't care about white men in positions of power getting in trouble for false accusations, but why does simply fitting that profile mean that there's no cause for concern if you get in trouble for something you didn't do?

I do worry that we're getting too eager to believe people who accuse other people of sexual assault. Isn't it enough to believe the accusers to the degree that we'd believe someone who accused another person of any other crime? Or is that really all that these advocates want us to do?

I've never really played a Kirby game until recently, when I've been playing through a few.

Yes, it does look like just a generic (though not necessarily bad) monster movie that happens to "star" a giant ape, a giant wolf, and a giant reptile (and Lizzie didn't even look like a crocodile in the games). I would think that to be Rampage in more than name, the monsters would at least have to have started out as people.

Then again, some of the city shots did look like Rampage levels come to life. Maybe the movie will have more allusions to the games than you might think.

This looks bad. Way too many unfunny "dirty" jokes. And I bet it'll feel weird to have most of the characters have Romeo and Juliet--related names when this movie has nothing to do with the play.

It doesn't look good for Roy Moore, but one thing odd about this story, as I heard last night on conservative talk radio, is that the Washington Post isn't saying what sort of person told them about what Roy Moore allegedly did. The story simply says, in the middle, "Neither Corfman nor any of the other women sought out The Post. While reporting a story in Alabama about supporters of Moore's Senate campaign, a Post reporter heard that Moore allegedly had sought relationships with teenage girls." Obviously we don't need to know the name of whoever told the Washington Post, but is the newspaper not telling us anything more about the source because it's, say, somebody with the Democratic Party who was sitting on the information until revealing it would be most damaging for the Republicans?
