However, for about nine months now, my right ear has been "sensitive" to certain clicking noises that seem to appear mainly as video game sound effects. They don't hurt my ear, but they make it "twitch" on the inside, if that makes sense. Some techno music sounds also cause this, as can flipping through papers and clicking a mouse---but thankfully the paper-flipping and mouse-clicking cause it only rarely. I basically haven't been playing video games as much as I want to; I can play them with the sound off, but that's not much fun. Does anybody else have this problem? I told my doctor about it when I went for a checkup in the spring, and he said I have no ear infection and no punctures in my eardrum. So that's good, at least. |

If you haven't started it yet and are planning on doing Normal mode the first time, I suggest you not look at any outside help unless you really need it, because it will probably make that mode too easy. |

For instance, in Awakening, it just feels right to have Stahl and Sully marry each other, since they're the green and red cavaliers. |

I voted for Riviera because it has good graphics and is definitely original without being incomprehensible. In contrast, I never figured out any strategy for Chain of Memories and gave up once I got to a boss that I couldn't beat after a few tries. But Riviera wouldn't be my #1 favorite GBA game. Maybe it would be near the bottom of the top 10. |

I bought the 3DS just for Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, since it was a direct sequel to Professor Layton and the Last Specter on the DS and I wanted to see what the full story would be. And even though I didn't know that Miracle Mask would have its own direct sequel, I figured there would have to be a few other good 3DS games, and there have been. If the DS had had just the first trilogy of Professor Layton games and the second trilogy had started on the 3DS, maybe I wouldn't have bought it, since the first trilogy tied everything up. |

In particular, I'm not convinced that most animals, while they're dying, worry about what will happen to them after they die. But some might, since we always seem to be learning that animals are more intelligent than we thought, and if somebody is killing animals on the level of cats, it's probably only a matter of time before they start killing other people; so we can't just let people kill any animals they want to. |
