Mostly because it was also a pretty strong b/g toxic deck, but one game I did get two of those guys out at once and won based on the life drain

I just drafted a deck with three copies of the dude that drains two life every time you proliferate

The scale of the leak is pretty insane. Almost all the rares have been spoiled now. It seems like they must have inadvertently gotten some ONE rare sheets mixed into the Dominaria Remastered packs.

That was probably one of the greatest first seasons a tv series has ever had.

I hope this show doesnt get overlooked by the Emmys this is just actual prestige tv with a Star Wars label. Skarsgaard and Serkis did incredible work in this episode.

the prison design was pretty incredible, like the crazy magnet shoes prison from Face/Off but super sterile instead of rough and dirty

if youd told me a couple months ago that the second gold weapon Id buy would be for Orisa I would have thought you were crazy

but here I am, two wins from having 3000 competivr points and Im somehow an Orisa main now

playing a bunch of ow2 is making me wish Id played more of OW1 in the last couple months

i should have made sure I had all the good stuff unlocked before the system got so much worse

god, the reveal of the four-armed Anthony hopkinsesque alien doctor guy made me laugh so hard, it really undercut the emotional impact of what was going on right before, but still it was really good stuff

every time some weirdo random alien is on screen I cheer. Weird anteater guy on the beach was excellent. Shirtless pink guy right afterward may be my favorite so far

i havent watched a Star Wars thing since Last Jedi, and this is giving me an itch to watch some more. Maybe Ill finally check out Mandalprian.

As someone who mainly played Mystery Heroes to get weekly arcade wins in OW1 I'm not finding much of a reason to boot this game up either.

The battle pass is not a good motivator and the coin flip that is competitive games is too much of a gamble. Am I going to wait in queue for 10 minutes to get stomped or stomp the other team? Are either options actually fun?

I'm sure this would be fun if I had a group of 4 other people to play with though.

im having an alright time playing unranked matches, but legit 300 of my 327 hours of OW1 were spent in Arcade mode. Most of the Battlepass challenges require playing in the normal queue stuff, so its a bummer that the reward incentive has been moved away from the modes I really liked.

Most characters are still basically the same. Bastions another one that got drastically changed

On the other hand, Orisa was one of my least favorites to play because she just felt so slow and her weapon felt shitty, but now she feels awesome. Giving her this spear was brilliant.

doing death match with Doomfist was my favorite thing

also the change makes it look like Ive played roughly twice as much time as a tank in my career profile than is actually accurate, since it seems to have retroactively counted my Doomfist time as tank time

(I have 327 hours played total, 47 of those hours were Doomfist. Next most played is Lucio at 28 hours, but Im pretty sure thats hugely inflated by Lucioball, so the second most legitimate hours is Solider with 22. I really liked Doomfisting.)

funny episode, but it felt a little off somehow? Ricks voice didnt seem quite right and Rick was maybe too quippy toward Jerry/the camera? I dunno, it just didnt seem like normal Rick.

We didnt have the same opportunity for people to get mad about stuff, since proper social media wasnt around yet.

What exactly is the chronological order?

theoretically its First Class, DoFP, Appcalypse, Dark Phoenix, and then the original trilogy, but DoFP is kind of simultaneously a sequel to First Class and X-Men 3, so the concept of chronological order isnt really clean.

if you watch it in chronological order you have to figure out why Magneto appears not to age for 40 years from the 1962-1999 and then suddenly becomes Ian McKellen in the year 2000

the timeline got so wacky

first class and dark Phoenix are literally 30 years apart

mystique and beast are like fifty years old in DP, Quicksilvers gotta be in his forties... X and Magneto are sixty. no one looks different.

yes X3 made me like actually mad

there were some bright spots (Kelsey Grammer and Elliot Page were great casting choices, Juggernaut was sort of fun), but it was overall a total mess

"An infidelity" doesn't surprise me, as it's more common than you think, nor do I care about them enough to follow up beyond a raised eyebrow and a shrug.
