I think the problem I found with that is no creature will actually die until the whole spell resolves because of how statebased actions work, so you can't base anything off the creature you control actually dying in the fight

Maybe I should have done something like "until the end of your turn, target creature gains (tap) fight target creature" and "whenever a creature dealt damage by this creature dies this turn, until this creature"

but that is so many words and maybe broken when combined with an indestructible creature

I tried to just copy the structure of Obsidian Fireheart for that one, but the version where it gave the land an ability ended up too wordy. The version I went with is probably still too wordy.

also I realized after I submitted that I forgot to make Tibalt legendary, so I'm just going to assume that I was immediately disqualified for that and all my cards are actually the best.

The Phoenix went through a lot of iterations. I added the downside to the back close to the end because I was worried it might be too easy to get some spell back repeatedly forever otherwise. I dunno.

Bunch of Punches was probably the one I was least confident about. I think I found the least awkward way to phrase the effect I was going for within the rules( your creature fights until it dies), but it may still be too awkward to be worthwhile.

I like Community a lot. Rewatched S1-3 last month, so much fun.

Theres this brand of modern over-the-top American sitcoms that are too campy for my taste. I think The Good Place is falling into that category.

It feels like a combination of Parks and Rec and Lost to me. It's an above average comedy that I find myself particularly invested in because I don't know what will happen next.

The Last Man on Earth was similarly compelling to me for its first couple seasons, but isn't as consistently interesting now.

I'm serious. What Ron Paul describes sounds like a baby suffocating while doctors ignore it, not an abortion. He says the medical personnel pretended not to notice, but he's there noticing, so why didn't he do anything?
