It is legitimately insane that they havent done a more legitimate remake for VI. They should have done for it what they did for IV on DS, and since they didnt do that it definitely should have been number one on the list to get HD 2Dd

Glad they're not bothering with new characters for MK. The tracks are all that matter at this point. Just save the roster update for the next main entry.

theres at least a few characters in the mobile game that arent in 8 that I would think would be relatively easy to just bring over, that wouldve been nice

but also theres a ton of characters already and its not a big deal. Unless they added Funky, Id probably still just play as various Koopalings all the timr

I'm mostly stoked for Strikers and MK8 DLC.

I was bummed about the DLC until they said it was 48 courses. That's a lot of courses. One step closer to Mario Kart Ultimate.

Yeah, I end up playing alone the vast majority of the time, but I have enough fun little interactions with people to make the onlineness feel pretty good. A day or two ago I saw a bard in Gridania playing Brain Stew and it ruled.

people on my server/data center have pretty much all been either neutral or nice/cool in my experiences so far. and the few times in a raid or whatever Ive seen people get a little shitty it wasnt directed at me, so yeah. its going good.

I just finished the main story + patch stuff of Heavensward. I took the first quest for Stormblood, then when I entered the new region the cutscene ended and I was surrounded by maybe a hundred people lining the sides of the road waving glow sticks.

apparently some streamer happens to be finishing HW like right now too and all these people are assembled for him.
