I just love the Xenosaga trilogy so much, and Xenogears, though I really need to replay it and I wonder if it'd still hold up after all this time...

3 > Xenogears > 1 > 2 , even if 3 was a bit of a rush in parts to get things wrapped up, still a satisfying conclusion.

Honestly that's true, I'm like 10 years from my last Crisis Core playthrough and I'm not sure whether it's the (repetitive) gameplay or the fact my PSP is collecting dust, really probably the former.

AND
Parallel-universe hinted at at end of 7R where Zack survives and Cloud remains catatonic. Zack going through events of FF7 in Cloud's place; reuses all 7R character/location properties so minimal "new" investment needed (definitely voice acting, maybe some cutscenes but you could swap Zack for Cloud in most?) but they could still charge $80 for this
And it would be a proper Kingdom Hearts-esque spinoff that will tie into Remake Pt 2

I just want to say, Tory instantly became my favourite character in Season 2 and I was afraid she'd no-show since a few other characters were off the show, glad to see her again in this season, though I could see she only got "guest star" treatment this go-around, hopefully she's more front and centre in Season 4. But every time she'd show up I would do the equivalent of this:

General season 3 thoughts:

-I dug it but it really was a filler season, resolving season 2 & setting up season 4
-Big fan of bringing back Kyler from S1 to be in the Cobra Kai crew, lol
-In addition to rewatching the first two seasons before S3, I also watched Karate Kid Pt 2 and 3 for the first time, and I did not care for Pt 2 but I enjoy Pt 3 way more than I should have, and...
-I am looking forward to Terry Silver shenanigans in Season 4, lol

This is a good and true topic.

When I was in high school I was introduced to euchre and loved it and actually won a euchre tournament in university so that was pretty swell. But early in my working career I was lucky enough to have an older co-worker who knew bridge and taught it to me & 2 other younger co-workers on our lunch break, so pretty much every lunch the 4 of us were around we would play some hands, it was great.

I don't recall how it came about - I guess the two of us were really into bridge - but me and one of my younger co-workers decided to go to a bridge club once a week and start playing there, and it was funny because here we were in our 20s and everyone else there was 60+, we definitely stuck out. Though it was always nice to get compliments about how nice it was to see young people playing bridge, hahaha.

But yeah, it was always a great time and I loved bridge, I was reading up on articles and strategies and everything. And we were pretty good at the club, we had a good partnership, knew our bidding cues, and duplicate bridge is the most fun of all.

Anyways, I left the company but we kept doing our weekly visits, and then they became infrequent as work and life got in the way, and eventually stopped entirely, and that was many years ago. Pretty much never think about bridge nowadays, really only when I visit my parents I'll read the bridge column in the newspaper. I figure it'll be like riding a bike if I ever pick it back up again... though maybe not for the advanced techniques.

Bridge #1 and Euchre in a strong second place though, for sure.

Oh Leon you missed when I was giving my play-by-play on my first watchthrough of Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya during the last iteration of SMFAS

...I just couldn't get into it. I went with the "broadcast order" and was confused right out the gate (literally, Asahina episode 1) and the placement of episodes was just so stupid in so many places (eg sticking a random episode in between a two-parter; or having episodes talking about concepts which were explained in episodes that I hadn't seen yet)

But slice-of-life stuff isn't my thing generally so I figured it it'd be a tough watch but I felt compelled as I commit to watching all SMFAS winners & finalists. And I'm literally 2 years behind, the only series I watched this year were Melancholy and From The New World. Looking forward to Monster rewatch in 2021...

So anyways, I didn't like Melancholy at all. But I LOVED Disappearance so much that it made it all worthwhile, it was just so great. And I look forward to watching Melancholy again at some point in the future, in proper chronological order, where I'm sure I'll appreciate it more than my initial viewing.

(I also watched The Disappearance of Nagato-Yuki chan and liked it more than Melancholy so.... yeah... )

Well at least Die Hard isn't in the poll, that would be stuffied to victory 100% guaranteed

Also kind of surprised that Tokyo Godfathers didn't make the poll. Not because it's one of the most well known Christmas movies, but it's pretty much the iconic anime Christmas film. I know this board is big into anime, so it's surprising, but maybe people here only watch the TV shows rather than the movies.

Oh I've had that sitting on my "To Watch" queue for a while, since I loved Paranoia Agent and recall liking Paprika (though it's been a while). All the more incentive to get to watching it, 'tis the season...
