The Stars/Avs obviously should go first since Canucks/Golden Knights are a back to back, surely there's no way they go first. Stars/Avs afternoon and Canucks/Golden Knights at night "if necessary", no brainer. But we're less than 24 hours away and both games are TBD? While Saturday's game already has a time? Certainly no excuse for not giving Stars/Avs a start time, damn.

bah, most of my playthrough I was big into Carding to keep levels low (and into playing cards and card modding of course), and using Level Up where necessary to draw better magic to further brutalize all opposition and THEN at the endgame after unlocking the "Bonus" abilities, then levelling the team up to 100 and getting all the stats bonuses along the way.

...all incredibly unnecessary but very satisfying!

Once the Blues lose, I will have officially had 7 of the 8 teams I was rooting for in the first round eliminated. Only Vegas made it and I mean, that always felt like a sure thing anyways. Rough playoff season...

I guess now I gotta root for the Avalanche (which I would've anyways if they weren't playing the Coyotes) and the Lightning by default, fuck the Bruins... also yeah Islanders over Flyers, why not!

I didn't end up watching any games today, probably for the best. How the hell did the Hurricanes lose that one. Poor Kuemper. Poor Bluejackets.

I did not think Vegas was going to score. Locked in Crawford is a monster. He's just well past being able to do it consistently.

Kuemper was barely on my radar before this postseason but he's been impressive on a team that was clearly outclassed by Nashville and is even more outclassed here.

I still believe if he didn't get injured he'd have ended up #2 in Vezina voting behind Rask! Really, just stuck on a team that can't score.

Probably not many more "steals" in his future, or Crawford's. The Crawford one was really unexpected considering his stats as of late.

Looking forward to tomorrow's slate of games, I may actually watch them all. (also just realized all 4 teams I'm rooting for in Monday's games are down 2-1 in their series so yeah... got some work to do)

It's like, the Caps win the cup that one time and then it's back to form. Which is early playoff exits. But at least they had that one time...

It's funny you mention that, because the recent discussions in smfffc got me thinking of Dissidia, and then I looked into Dissidia NT and Rinoa's voice actress choice... not sure what I was expecting, but not that.

Not that we need to worry about a full FF8 remake with voice acting anytime soon but if it happens, hope they go a different direction!!

You'll have some GFs that learn Spd-J naturally (he's one) but it's another one. Actually I don't remember if there are 3 GFs that have that or not, but still. No better junction ability... other than St-J Def x4 I guess. Memory has it being the most game-breaking speed plus ability other than the Auto Haste + Auto Regen combo in FF9.

Yeah I figured you couldn't really compare NHL to MLB due to the bubbling. Though I imagine something like, maybe if they make the conference finals, he bubbles back into quarantine and he's back for the Cup Finals if they get there. Though if they're able to win 2 series with Halak they probably keep rolling with him anyways... but ideally they win 0 series!

I wonder how late in the day becomes the official "delayed game" point, not sure if they officially stated that after that one. Like we only have 4 hours difference between Canucks/Blues (6:30) and Stars/Flames (10:30) tomorrow. I wonder if it's just a straight policy, like, "not done in 2OT = next game automatically delayed" or they have a hard and fast time, like if the game isn't done by 10pm then the next is delayed.

Yeah, and the Bruins/Hurricanes played yesterday and today too. Since they run 5 games on some days we end up with 9 games in 2 days so a back-to-back develops. Here's some more up ahead:
-Colorado/Arizona 14-15
-Vegas/Chicago 15-16
-St. Louis/Vancouver 16-17
-None 17-18 (4 games each day)
-Montreal/Philadelphia 18-19
-Boston/Carolina 19-20 (AGAIN after this two-game set! Though 20th would be Game 6 so not yet guaranteed)
-None 20-21 (4 games each day)
-Columbus/Tampa Bay 21-22 (even though there's 4 games on the 21st, this series gets a back-to-back to give Boston/Carolina 2 days off before a theoretical Game 7 on the 23rd)
-Washington/New York 22-23 (would be Games 6 and 7, if necessary of course)

So every series gets hit by a back-to-back at least once, though Caps/Islanders only happens if it goes to Game 7 and others can be avoided with sufficiently quick elims.

Okay, yesterday was literally 0 for 5 on teams I wanted to win actually winning, but we're 3/3 so far and I don't really care about Flames/Stars. I guessss I gotta root for the Flames as a Canadian team. Still a better day all-around!

Well, we're 2 for 2 on the worst team winning deep overtime games. Not great!

In my last FF8 playthrough I was thinking about this, when you fight Seifer again he talks about how they grew up together, how Edea was Matron, etc. And I never put it together before that like.... he doesn't know that they remembered their past, in fact just remembered it. Imagine if the Trabia scene doesn't happen, how awkward that'd be, looool.

But while I haven't watched any of their games, I'd rather play Vancouver than Calgary? So maybe that still happens there.
