Yeah pretty much in "watch for the sake of watching" mode with this season but hey, new Amazing Race in January and then maybe 2nd time's the charm in March!

Yeah fuck this season, man...Sydney was so far in the lead as my fav I don't even know who my #2 is. I guess we'll find out next week! Need to keep watching this trainwreck through to the end.

When Jeff started talking about "turning back time", for the briefest moment, a fraction of a second, I thought he was going to reveal there was a secret Edge of Extinction running all this time and everyone eliminated would be re-entered into the game.

did someone watch the Mexico/Canada game? I'm still not clear on the stoppage time situation there, how much did the ref call for and how long did it really last? As soon as i saw 90+9' for the final goal I thought it was extra time and then realized that's stoppage time... a ridiculous absurd amount of stoppage time.

Well news reports say Canada did great and were actually the better team most of the game so, that's nice. Maybe they won't be as hopeless in World Cup qualifying as I thought and could actually squeak in...

Thought of that joke a couple days ago, saw the opportunity to use it... I won't quit my day job.

I love the Kaiba talk because it's reminding me of my one intersection with Yugioh

Of course watching the original anime series and Kaiba was the greatest, and I don't know if anyone remembers the "Power of Chaos" computer games that came out in like, 2003, 2004? the 2nd game in the series was Kaiba's and had you playing against him, had the English voice actor and it was classic Kaiba. So I got and played that game, tried the 1st game in the series (Yami Yugi game where the cards available were so bad, it really made playing unbearable), and then 3rd game was Joey's, again using the Joey voice actor which was great. And also introduced some more cards but again, we're talking real early in the Yugioh cycle so even missing lots of early stuff. No Injection Fairy Lily for example!

To this day I still dust off the Joey game occasionally, but really just to beat up the A.I. with my Exodia deck. I got a FTK one time and wonder if I could ever pull it off again...

Everything in my Day 25 post is panning out as expected, other than Cissnei miracle survival thanks to Leah. Cloud or Cid is the weakest FF7 character left at this stage and I'm thinking it's Cloud.

But a Cloud elim still wouldn't be spicy despite people wanting it to be!

Worth remembering that those past years had H4 usually extending into the Day 30s (or beyond). Last year, I think lost H4 after boots were done, and this year reduced to only 2 days.

So the fact he stayed afloat this long without a 4th hour and with an increasingly-emaciated 3rd hour is pretty good.
