| MartinFF7 12/14/23 2:27:51 PM #156 | Finished watching the shows -disappointed in Amazing Race winners (was rooting for either of the other 2 teams) but fair enough, they earned it -would've liked to have seen Drew attempt to face the jury & probably get shredded by them, so got robbed of that possibility Though since Emily went out I was really reduced to just rooting for Austin so yeah, bracing myself for another disappointing outcome e.g. Jake idol knocks him out in 5th... but surely the winner is either him or Dee right? and I'm still not feeling a Dee win? and surely not any of the other three either, right? I've been so wrong before though so who knows. What is funny is each final tribal result of the new era, the past four seasons, ended in 7-1-0 votes. Looking forward to seeing if that trend continues, lol. |

Also hope you're doing the sub because while people noted the series is over, the dub for the final "episode"/movie won't be out for a while. There was a 6 month gap before the dub for the second-last episode was released which would put the last episode dub release at May 2024 if same timeline, so, yeah... |

| MartinFF7 12/06/23 12:12:24 AM #62 | I started a XIII trilogy replay to keep pace w/ BCT's topic and then I never did and tonight I finished Lightning Returns. Timer on final save was 109 hours 54 minutes so definitely 110+ considering restarts. All three game replays probably topping 250 hours, geez. Now gotta start putting this time to the backlog of never-played games before the inevitable February 7R replay leading up to February 29... LR > XIII > XIII-2 hierarchy remains intact though XIII level design was a lot worse than I remember. Maybe an extra ">" in each of those two equivalencies, tbh. Read through the topic and yeah, everything basically lines up with what I was thinking/feeling. Not sure I agree with the game not having very good writing, I think it could be a mix of some info still not being relayed yet (for plot purposes), but also maybe some more helpful info being dumped in the datalogs. Neither of the next two games have that issue, at least. re: Raines boss fight, it messed me up bad in my replay too, I forget if I gave in and just threw a Sentinel in there, or if I figured it out some other way (or got lucky). But if you can get past him (and a little more) you get to what is my favourite part of the whole trilogy so hang in there!!! |

Kellie by far my favourite on Survivor, damn, brutal blindside but really well executed... don't know who to root for, I guess I'm on Team Emily now? Though the good news is I like something about everyone left (except Julie) so should be entertained the rest of the way at least. Still sad. So following up that heartbreak with Amazing Race and it looks like Anna Leigh and her father were going out for the majority of the episode and they're my #1 team on that show and I can't remember (if ever) losing both my #1s in the same night when the two shows aired together and it suckeddddd but damn what a miracle recovery. Even if going for the express pass is such a dumb move in that situation (not to mention missing the "taken" sign) Also missed replying in the last topic: friends, if you have access somehow, you should watch The Traitors Canada Started watching it after I visited my parents and they were watching it. It's good...ish. Big fan of the two traitors, not so much a Mai fan since her clash w/ the legendary Rick the Temp lol (she is definitely cute though) (somebody needs to tell old lady Donna who keeps wearing WAY too revealing shirts to stop though) |

Which again, doesn't matter unless it's an origin story or there's pre-power flashbacks and even then is just me nitpicking. That's all!! Now I looked up the 2015 FF movie bomb and I saw they had Jamie Bell cast as him which again doesn't fit in my mind but I guess my mind is off... also with a heaping dose of nostalgia-bias towards the 2000s-era FF casting, lol. |

It is pretty funny that Cloud beat all three FFX ladies in a row & pretty close to Tidus semifinals and Auron finals too for a potential 5-straight, that would've been something.
