Like it's such a weird character-- I'm not saying the announcers need to bury him for heelishness, you can be subtle about it, but don't tell me that he deserves a title match. He's kinda a lot like Hulk Hogan in a lot of ways if Hulk Hogan didn't win all the time and if the audience liked him a lot less. On that note Corey Graves being Roman Reigns's Bobby Heenan would help so much I think. Just some acknowledgement that this character doesn't make sense, even if it's from the heel commentator, would help so much. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

| Lopen 07/24/18 12:09:28 PM #358 | Few tricks to building up low popularity guys beyond what Tom said 1. Putting them in angles with higher popularity and/or talented workers will get them over that initial hump of total jobberdom pretty fast. Ideally you want to put them with a guy a bit above their level to make the segments stronger but not someone who will completely overshadow them cause the "looked lost out there" penalty matters a lot I believe. 2. In matches having a guy lose respectably-- like a match that gets time and with the open match note, will help a ton. Don't do the "keep strong" note on a guy that's losing if they're a jobber though that ends up backfiring I feel. 3. If you want to book them over higher popularity guys save it for your big events. Otherwise you're just pissing them off for little reason as on TV shows the actual booking doesn't matter nearly as much as the win/loss impact is lessened there. Also ideally you feed them jobbers or whatever before that since the momentum thing seems to matter a lot for overness conversion when a guy wins the match. Overall I find it pretty easy to the point where when I'm running low popularity feds I need to play conservative so the AI doesn't cannibalize my guys before I can sign them to written, but it might be down to booking style. --- No problem! Brock vs Lashley 1v1 was the only potential match I legit would have liked to see. Roman vs Brock 1v1 again I have a morbid interest in just to see how far the crowd can bury it. Keep in mind they're both bad enough that Summerslam is avoid for me. It is 100% the worse booking though, though not one I'd fully ruled out. --- No problem! Then you'd have two guys who fairly decisively have Roman's number facing off which gives it a bit more intrigue than it would if Lashley just won once. But I'd call that the third most likely result behind Draw/No Contest (I expect this for the cop-out Triple Threat) and Roman winning. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

These are just like... dialogue that should (or shouldn't, I suppose, given the boringness) be present for the event. I honestly think if they were actual support conversations with Kiran and the character about random ass stuff that could've been kinda cool in spite of being a far cry from what I actually wanted. Or alternatively just have the character monologue about random stuff. Some of the level 40 monologues are okay. Kiran dialogue interaction (either just write in his dialogue or you picking responses) would be a lot better though. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

I don't think necessarily everyone deserves a second chance just for free, but if you show remorse instead of trying to blame someone or whatever, you should definitely get one as long as it's nothing too extreme you did. If he apologized and is doing a good job though? Yeah, definitely kinda weird to fire him now. Feels more like giving into terrorism than actually a deserved firing. Along with 8 Tiamats and 10 Silver Dragons I'd be so upset if we were still using Keystones that I'd probably have used RK Inspector by now.
