Its biggest problem is that it's too short.

Also, it's fair to call this a difficult game; check-points make it less so, but you're going to die a lot and the game demands precision.

I didn't get too much into the online modes, but it was fun when I wasn't completely outclassed. Weapon fusing was also a neat idea, though I stopped combining weapons after awhile.

Intensity levels were one of the most novel things about the game; I think that could easily catch on.

Platforming had moments of frustration, but it wasn't very common to be on areas where you could fall off anyway -- particularly the tricky narrow spots. Only one or two levels bothered me on that.

KI:U was a fun game that did some amazing things. It was definitely harder to play without the stand it comes with, but I was still able to play most of the game by just holding it. This is probably the spiritual successor to Star Fox 64 -- great quotes, fun flying levels, lots of secrets, and its land-based action was also more fun than SF:Ass(ault)'s. I only got it because I won a Best Buy giftcard and they accidentally still had the game marked down $10 dollars from a previous sale...but it's a quality game that benefits from not taking itself too seriously.

Pit better be awesome in the next Super Smash Bros.-game!

Next game up: time to finish the Phoenix Wright-trilogy with Trials and Tribulations...! Keep your dirty spoilers to yourself, PW-fans.

My account will soon be old enough to make an account.....

Ten years ago, I was a high-schooler in Small Town, TN. I was training for my first real season of football and looking for a new game-based website as GameSages.com dwindled down in size...where GameFAQs hooked me with its first ever Character Battle coming up. Nothing was known about any of the entrants; I remember fearing how Ms. Pac-Man had a chance against Mega Man before seeing the results:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=968

God, that contest was awesome, like many others that followed it...

...but now, as the contests fade in relevance here, I find myself as a college graduate packing for New York City in hopes of chasing the dream of theatre. Somehow through-out that ten-year progression, Board 8's maintained a near-daily part of my life even when the contests no longer really are. Thanks for the good times, guys. =)

OK Computer > Kid A. I listened to them in reverse-chronological order and YouTube suggests Kid A grows on you more, but my first impression remains the same!

Still, both were fine albums. I enjoyed Paranoid Android, Electioneering, and Idioteque (my favorite song between the two albums) the most. I've also never listened to much of Radiohead before; I've casually heard In Rainbows a few years ago and remember "Creep" from the days of MTV, but that's it. Any recommended next steps in checking out this legendary band I've never heard much of before?

If Child's Play honestly expects 100% of your earnings, and you can't manage that, why are they even an option?

We may be able to come to some sort of solution with them, even if it is only for opening night or something else temporary; we might be able to specifically focus our efforts with them for only opening night or something, since this play will receive a three-weekend run. We could also maybe work something out with them about merchandising since they encourage more creative solutions to fundraising, even if their policy's 100%. I just don't want to immediately rule them out since they were immediately who I thought of when this discussion first began and their fundraising guide didn't mention anything about theatre, but the needs of the company may overrule that.

Should Child's Play not be an acceptable option, it seems pretty clear that DonateGames runs away with this.
