Nobody's ever really approached me for car help in public. One time years ago an old lady asked me to check if her muffler fell off.

I always let them use my car for a jump if they were a guest.

I keep getting older people who tell me the 1970s and 80s were worse because their mortgage interest was 15-20%.

When I worked nights at a hotel I used to get randos at 5am asking me to jump their car.

For the past few weeks they've had to put up with random people shouting "I'm fresh out of honey" at them.

This shouldnt be legal. I never liked that big corporations were allowed you cant sue us clauses. There was a poster here (maybe a year or two ago) who was in a car crash as the passenger in an Uber/Lyft car. It was completely his drivers fault and the company had a clause saying that he could only sue them for a max of like $50k. I dont know, maybe if you hire a lawyer they can sidestep that.

I personally know someone who got hit by a driver driving for Uber. Their settlement was like half that.

You end up spending way more at McDonald's, Burger King etc. if you refuse to use the apps.

Ohio is stalling with the Ohio Supreme Court. Alabama and Georgia were dealing with the federal judges.

Because election laws are state laws, someone in Ohio (aka "with standing") has to file a federal case arguing that Ohio districting laws violate federal laws.

Ohio voted out two of the Judges against Gerrymandering in 2022.

Won't they just stall like Ohio did? Now Ohio made the maps even worse for 2024.
