I worked at Subway during Jared's downfall. We got a call from corporate like an hour before the story broke and they told us to remove any reference to him that may be in the store. So we had to hide the big cardboard cutout and cut off half the menu bc his pic was on it.

Decided to read his wiki article and evidently in 2017 Jared tried to get his conviction overturned by citing he was a sovereign citizen.

Did Subway make a public statement on Jared before they told you this? Or they waited until after the story broke to speak. Since it sounds like they used their heads up on the story to at least remove Jared references.

Nope. We didn't know what the deal was at the time. They just told us to get rid of him so we knew he did something bad.

Wasn't Pro Jared's thing not the dong, but that his ex wife accused him of some stuff? But later he proved his innocence and that she was the villain, not him. I dont know if he is popular now but I know he came back to youtube

It was a bunch of things all at once. It seems him and his wife at the time were both rather toxic to one another. They had an open relationship (possibly as an attempt to repair their own relationship and not because they were poly) but Jared felt like he wasn't being respected in it so he cheated on her with Ross' (Probably still best known for GameGrump's Steam Train) wife at the time. (Just to clarify, an open relationship still requires communication. This is cheating because he did NOT communicate any of this) I beleive this much is absolutely true, and he's apologized for it. If you had to pick just the one bad guy, I guess its Jared since he probably ought to have communicated better and definitely should not have slept with one of his close friend's wives. That doesn't make Holly or Heidi innocent though.

During all this and during a round of shit flinging it was revealed that Jared ran a pornographic Tumblr blog called SinJared I think. He would anonymously post submitted nudes and put up a pretty weak veneer that this was about celebrating body positivity. Anyways, whenever someone wanted to submit a photo he would ask them if they were 18+ and once they confirmed it he would accept / post their pictures. He didn't ask for ID or anything like that because he didn't have a secure way of sending data like that and didn't want people to accidentally dox themselves. This got him into trouble when two girls claimed he was a pedophile for submitting their photos while they were underaged and that he definitely knew they were underaged when he posted it. He shared his own nudes as well which added fuel to the fire.

Jared disappeared for like 4 months after this and then made a long (obviously curated with help from a lawyer) video where he does a bunch of apologizing for cheating and running a porn blog at all, but makes it clear in no uncertain terms that the girls calling him a pedophile were just seeking 15s of fame. He showed the receipts, showing him clearly asking their age and then confirming it. The real clincher though happened when both girls claimed long periods of psychosis during the time they were supposed to have interacted with him. Their only proof that he was supposed to know they were underaged was one of them calling themself "baby".

As far as his Channel. He currently sits somewhere around 800k subs. About where he was before all that shit happened iirc, so I guess he's recovered. Hasn't really grown any since then though.

Subway trying to look like a weight loss fast food chain was kind of fucked up to begin with. Who wants to buy and suffer through 1.5 feet of Subway every day, 1 foot of it being nothing but lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. I think I'd choose being fat over that torture.

Was the Subway Diet a hoax anyway? A guy lives off nothing but Turkey Sub + Diet Coke twice per day. Wouldn't it be way cheaper to just buy groceries and make it yourself?

the outrage was overblown. It winds up he was innocent of pedophilia grooming claims. His accusers were caught lying multiple times and the evidence shows Jared always asked for age of consent every time. And it winds up he never even sent nudes to or got nudes from the accuser in question. So the entire thing was made up.

He did not have an affair either. He and his wife were swinging to try and keep their marriage afloat. It didnt work but no one cheated. Heck Ross (the guy everyone claims got cheated on the most in all this) flat out said Jared and his wife never even had sex.

I recall that he used to walk to the Subway he would get his food from, the walking was his exercise.

The first person who caught on to him was a (I think) radio personality who had her life turned upside down when the FBI forced her to continue her invesigation into him because she thought something was fishy.

They then dumped her like a carcass and never talked to her again. It strained relationships with her family and more.
