To the extent anyone could ever say she looked good as a candidate (and she never did, IMO), it is only in comparison to the other neanderthals running in the GOP primary. There's no "South Carolina Model" that anyone is looking to adopt.

Yeah she's essentially playing a strategy that ```looks good``` for right leaning people who think they're "too smart" to vote for Trump but will still do it anyway when the time comes. People can project some of their more principled views onto her. In reality, she's just as bad as the rest but since she's the only woman on the stage, she can pretend that she's a better representative for them.

It took me a while to enter this topic because the typo in the title made me think it was about POTUS posting anonymously.

She's bland enough in comparison to people like Trump, DeSantis and Ramaswamy that people can do that. But she existed politically as Governor in the unholy trinity in South Carolina that included Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott. She's one of them.

Protecting anonymous speech is part of the first amendment.

Republicans haven't won a presidential popular vote since the internet became widely adopted. It's pretty much a daily thing at this point that they want to weaken free speech on the internet or get rid of it if they could, basically turning the internet into all corporate sites that you consume but don't interact with like television.

There's nothing they could suggest that would surprise me. My crackhead theory is I think Trump was this close to shutting down all internet access in the U.S. during the George Floyd protests.
