i think that's exactly about where i got when i played the game in january?

beach area - went to a temple looking for a missing woman? i don't remember if i went much further past there

i uh used cheat engine to turn on god mode so that i didn't have to fight any battles. they were too confusing for me. too many skills, too many systems, all i did was button mash and win and it was boring so i figured whatever, i am playing for the story and the exploration anyway.

i don't really like the characters, think the two adult male chars are pretty boring anime tropes? and magilou annoys me. but i like the other three.

Um, have you personally investigated these claims of gamethrowing, or are you just taking Blade's word?

Because I think that's kinda unfair to do without any evidence?

I replaced into Alakazam's slot and the most I ever heard was that he fakeclaimed a silly flavour role. Besides that, I never got the impression he did anything against wincon (and trust me, I'd know, people kept quoting all his posts to me)

What is this game similar to? Like, if I like X other games, I might like this? I cannot figure out the genre at all.

How simple/complicated is the battle system? I like games that are simple - i.e. there aren't tons of different options for customization, or dozens of different skills, I prefer games for example where you have a simple 3-hit combo and a handful of skills compared to games where you have 10 different basic attacks and lotsa skills. I don't like having to control tons of things, etc.

Those are always my favorites. No world building or logistics, just random platforms in space.

You could check out Super Cloudbuilt. It's not quite the same style of game (more like a mix between Sonic and Mirror's Edge), but it's just pure gameplay the whole time with a fun focus on speed. I actually liked it even more than Hat in Time.

I've played Cloudbuilt! Love the concept of it, but the speedy/parkour gameplay isn't really suited to my skills, sadly.

I started playing this game finally cause of this topic. Im done with world 1 as much as I can before moving on to 2. So far I'm a fan. Wish it had inverted X-axis camera though. Kind of strange it has so many options (even colorblind modes) but left that out.
