it's funny to me that you haven't heard people talk about it, because in the circles i'm in, it immediately caught on as the next big roguelite deckbuilding hit and everyone i know is talking about it.

it's fantastic, highly recommend to anyone who likes slay the spire, or just anyone into the genre at all.

Yes. Even just as an often-lurker, board 8 helps me feel like I have a "home", even at times when I moved long distances, or just any time I am far away from home but still have access to my phone/laptop, or have gone through uncertain life circumstances. It's a constant in my life and helps ground me.

uh... what's the scandal? i played a bit of deemo when it first came out and his tracks were my favourite

yeah i did look at the microtransactions just enough to figure out how mags work. because i'd rather just play one character for convenience, and you need 4 mags total i believe to be able to play every class, so that's just 10$, which is fair.

and yeah i just need to play a bit more and familiarize myself with it.

i haven't played a ton though, i tried a bit but it was just all very overwhelming. so many systems, so many menus, so many tutorials, a million different quest givers with no indication where to start, so many skills even though every enemy up to level 20 just dies in a couple hits so i couldn't figure out any real tactics yet

i want to play more it just feels kind of daunting and i don't love that you can't take a step in any direction without being faced with a dozen microtransaction icons

sadly my character is on ship 1 so i can't join

i'm really annoyed that PSO2 doesn't have universally accessible ships like PSO did but oh well

ben has been hilarious this season, particularly with adam, and i like him way more as a result

It's a 8/10 ish game but not the 10/10 the Original Trilogy has.

the balance of the game does seem like it could get unfair if mzero were scum and town had to waste a lynch before getting to him for real

so this game started with 20 people and there's been 5 dead mafia? and 1 independant? and there must be at least one more independant since the bomb person is likely an SK not mafia?

i have no idea. it feels like there's been a lot of them? i don't know game balance, certainly not this kind of game

quite frankly i don't think metagaming about whether or not han was online, available, or how he handles pings and stops falls under what the game is meant to be about so i'm not interested in it either way

balancing power is one thing but scum roles that require an extra vote to be lynched are inherently game-warping because it means town can't lynch them at LyLo

i mean, the thing about confirmables is we confirm them.

how is anyone ever expected to believe that you posting a bold ##blow up (with a @han tag) which led to the deaths of 3 people was just a joke and that the scum used it to frame you?

you're saying the people you claim to have targeted with bomb checks aren't the 3 that blew up, but is there any proof you actually targeted who you said you did? (via the tracker and stuff?)

well there's literally no harm in putting crescent at 4 and corrik at 3, right? because then she lives and corrik dies?
