CE is not a good indicator if a game is receiving hype or not. There's plenty here who are grown up and don't have a lot of time to invest playing in games, but like to discuss about it.

Dont think being grown up has much to do with it but sure.

Did Skyrim not deserve critical acclaim despite all of its technical issues? Fallout New Vegas? Even games like Batman Arkham Asylum had a pretty significant bug that could erase your data at launch. Where do you draw the line? If youre going to call out Pokemon Legends Arceus, you have to do the same with every other critically acclaimed game that had issues on launch. Some far worse than Legends Arceus despite having far better reviews.

Well for starters I remember even just 10 years ago, it was common to hear racist slurs and sexist shit in multiplayer lobbies and now you don't hear that shit at all.

Female gamers have gotten a lot more respect in recent years and in general, more women are openly gamers (like someone else in this topic mentioned, I too remember when legit female gamers like Morgan Webb were accused of not being "real" gamers).

A lot of that stuff is still common in multiplayer games. What are you playing?

Nah, since the latest Mario Kart already has dual items and kart customization. The only thing 2 characters 1 vehicle has going for it at this point is novelty unless Nintendo could find a way to do something completely new with the idea.

Double Dash was only good for its time. Seriously, go back and play it. The driving physics is awful. I didnt realize how bad the game aged until recently.

Just move on. Another girl will come along eventually.

CE steals from 4chan so it all works out.
