Hell no.

The first one, we never were officially dating I guess, even though she didn't have a problem with me buying her gifts and going on little day trips out of town on the weekend. Turns out she was dating a guy who was married with kids.

One kept pressuring me to get married after we started talking for like three months, and then when I said we need to slow down she said she slept with some guy she met on Craigslist.

Another one was my middle/high school bully, and I thought she had changed but apparently not because when I went to visit her for a week she just treated me like shit (besides dumb namecalling, she got on my case for trying to offer to help with chores around the house).

Another one was racist as shit, dumb, told me her mom thought I was the R-word for wanting to date her, used me when she got upset to make her ex and his friends jealous, and tried to do a homebrew abortion with pills and alcohol.

Tell me why I would ever want to be on speaking terms with any of these people who ultimately had zero respect for me? Not that I harbor a grudge or anything but why would I even waste time and energy going out of my way to talk to them?

Dragons Dogma is one of those games that I couldn't really understand.

I loved the concept of the pawn system and how you and your teammates learn strategies against different enemies, but after a point it all started to feel pretty sames-y. You can only jump on a Cyclops and stab its eye so many times before the charm wears down.

And the questing felt like something out of an MMO

idk, I actually enjoyed the world of Valhalla. It was a little weird to me since I didn't have any understanding of that period of England's history, but otherwise I liked that they streamlined side content and made it more personal, added a couple minigames to enjoy, and tried to connect the different regions of the world into the story.

Odyssey felt lifeless to me, just because it's just... a big ass countryside of copy and pasted camps and forts.

Honestly, Starfield and that's having played all the other Bethesda games and Ubisoft games and a ton of other games with crappy open worlds.

I am playing Starfield now and it's just so damn soulless. The cities look cool and some of the missions are cool, but exploring is pointless (everything is a copy and paste asset) and you spend as much time in loading screens as you do actually playing the game.

I enjoyed it, but it definitely fell short in a lot of places and ended up being pretty forgettable.

I remember enjoying the writing for the first hour until I realized they were basically laying the whole anti-capitalism thing on hella thick and there wasn't much else to it. I'm OK with that narrative but the fact that it's there in your face constantly from the first interaction was annoying.

I guess the overall story ended up kind of intriguing now that I'm remembering it though

I pointed out in another topic, and I don't know if it was mentioned in this one, but the latest election in Russia saw Putin win by a whopping 85%. Can't really say I'm surprised by that, as all his opposition ends up dead and people are afraid to stand up against him.
The lack of opposition is really a result of Putin punishing politicians for trying to take him down.

Even if there were a hundred other candidates Putin would still rake in the vast majority of votes because they would just stuff the ballot boxes and destroy non-Putin votes.
