It was either the late 80's or early 90's when I saw any of the movies, so the original trilogy was complete by that point.

Just the OT, saw it in the early 90s, was in elementary school when Ep 1 came out.

It was back when I was a kid so I'm not sure. Probably 3 but 2 is possible.

3 or 4. I think it was just the OT, so I voted for that. I was born after Return of the jedi, and Phantom came out when i was 13. I don't remember exactly when I saw star wars for the first time, or even which one tbh.

Just the first one existed. Because I remember all of the hype for when Empire Strikes Back came out. I have consistent memories from 1980 on when I was pretty young.

I dunno. I remember having a bunch of Star Wars toys growing up but can't remember when I watched the movies. I think I knew it more from the toys.

My first and only Star Wars film was the phantom menace which I saw opening weekend

there was the OT. Growing up my dad had the vhs versions. I hated them. But then the rerelease came out when I was like 11-12. Watched it on showtime and I was blown away that it came out in the 70s. Been a fan ever since.

OG trilogy

I started in the early 90s when I was just a little kid. Only three movies.

TPM was my first. I remember going to Hollywood Video with my dad after seeing it so we could rent the OT and marathon it on a Friday after school

I was 10 when Star Wars came out. I didn't live near a theater at the time, but I finally got to see it about a year later when we'd moved to Iowa. Better late than never, plus it was only $1 to go see it. "Second run" small town theater. It was awesome.

According to Wikipedia the 3rd of the original trilogy came out the year I was born. So 3. I remember having vhs copies of all 3 as a kid.

If the first one I "saw" as in sat down in theaters and actually paid attention to besides "oh that's my dad's show thing" was Phantom Menace. So I suppose OT + PM, or are we not counting the one we saw?

I believe the Phantom Menace was the first Star Wars movie I saw. Probably saw the Original Trilogy a few years after that...maybe after 2 was out.

Got the OT on VHS for Christmas 1996.

I was 5 when phantom menace was released, but I'm pretty sure I saw at least parts of the original trilogy before that because I remember asking why Chewbacca wasn't in PM when we were leaving the theater.
