Not really. The "engineers" were already there, and already organic, and the big plot twist was that they were our direct ancestors. A robot did make a new organism by making a human drink that weird soup stuff they made, but that's as close as it gets.

On some very distant world that just happened to spawn with materials in exactly the right place for there to be a fully functioning robot, which by the "there have to be aliens because the universe is infinite" argument, has to exist, the robot happened to be programmed to make more advanced tech which in turn made more advanced tech, etc, until they chemistried up some compounds that they were able to mold into certain forms that would do stuff on their own, but then they shot it into outer space, and it landed on Earth and that's where we all came from.

Some enemies in the Mega Man Battle Network games were infuriatingly rare.

V3 navis could often take a long time to find, but there were several that I looked for for MUCH longer. And the stupid thing was, you still had to get the right rank for the battle, which was often hard and even had an element of luck to it in addition. And in some cases, you could even get the rank you needed and still not get the chip. Like if there was more than one kind of enemy, or if you forgot and had something equipped where you would only get money.

A lot of people straight-up chip tradered a number of em in BN1. I was one of the rare few who actually got the drop-down chip without it.

Venom was going to be a young woman who blamed Spider-Man for her husband being run over by a cab who was distracted by Spider-Man swinging overhead, which also led to her having a miscarriage.

They should have done this, made a running joke of it, and made it her gimmick.

Not that Spider-Man keeps repeatedly doing stuff that through no fault of his own ruins her life further, but rather seemingly unrelated stuff keeps ruining her life further but she manages to tie it all back to that one time that Spider-Man swung overhead, but instead of just being crazy, she's actually right.

For example, three years later, a brick falls out of the sky and hits her in the head and she spends months to year hospitalized with a window in clear view of the place where she fell, and she recognizes it as the place where her husband was run over, and she notices the missing brick in the wall above, and she has another villain track down the brick and do tests on it, which reveal traces of Spiderman webbing dated to exactly the date of his death, which definitely loosened it enough that three years of gentle breezes and bugs managed to finally push it out.

And the issue ends with her raising her arms over her full head cast yelling "SPIDER-MAAAAAAAAAAAN!"

While buying does end up better financially in the long run, it's got its own downsides. Like maintenance and repairs, which can be serious headaches.

I generally don't check reviews at all; I just know something interesting when I see it. It pretty much always works.

If I do feel like I need more info, I'm sure as hell not gonna waste my time with lengthy posts that just repeat "it sucks" in terms that they think are increasingly funny.

The only thing you need to understand to use critic reviews is that they use PR speak. If the game drove them mad grinding for months, they say "it got a little grindy in places." So naturally, when they say "some of the controls are a little awkward" you know you're going to be fighting controls the whole time.

There's my professional opinion

A lot of c music is like a story in that it has your exposition, rising action, climax structure. I may be on the snobbish side on this particular topic (sorry guys) but it kinda irritates me when you see this stuff trimmed out, like a track/video that's JUST the chorale from Holst's Jupiter. It's absolutely the best part of the tune, but it makes so much more sense in the context of the piece. It's like skipping to the punchline of Nate the Snake, which I am fully aware most people did.

Though I guess to cut myself some slack, I haven't taken it to the extreme that I would expect everyone to listen to the whole Planets suite, the way it was intended, lol. There are some pieces I insist should be done that way, like Peer Gynt, but the Planets just for some reason isn't one of them.

Anyway, you also have pieces where the intensity level is just lower, and honestly those can be really good too.

Once every couple of months-ish. I don't do it more often for a number of reasons:

1. I don't actually eat out that often anyway. If I tried something new every time, it would still be once every couple of months, lol.

2. Other people. I don't know what every person on Earth's problem is but they're going to "nah" everything you suggest and IF you can get a suggestion out of them, you pounce on it like a rabid lion. Or there's the thing where you start it off with the suggestion "I'm gonna go ____, do you wanna come along" and they say sure, but then when you get in the car, it's "OR we could..."

3. I do wanna go with a favorite sometimes. Even if it's a place I've been to before, I might try something new, I dunno, 3/10 times or so.

My one hate bullet point for classical music is the dynamic range. Makes it amazing to listen to in person, but add the wind from a car, or a baby sleeping in the next room and you can forget about hearing most of it.

Tattoo artists don't have the ability to stand up from a lying position, so some people go into tattoo parlor at night as a prank and push them over. Sometimes the owner of the shop will find them before it's too late, sometimes not.

I actually did have the McD app for a while, until it deleted all my points. They were useless anyway, I guess, but it still annoyed me.

Honestly, the most annoying thing about the McD app is the insistence on it. You go through the drive thru and the first thing you hear is "will you be using the app today"

I dunno why that frustrates me so much but it does.

Not really. He would jump down, swing at you a few times, then jump back up, turn around and look at the helicopter for some reason, giving you the chance to Batclaw him, making him turn around as he fell (also for some reason) and get his fingernails stuck in the floor while you beat him up a bit.

Yeah. I love that game but it was one of the lamest bosses ever, NGL.

I dunno, I was a lot more upset about this back when I had recently paid them off.

I still think people who are currently in that situation deserve some consideration. But I also don't see it as that big of a deal anymore. We gave up a lot more money than we spent on student loans when we decided to have kids, for example. Or buy a house in the 'burbs vs middle of nowhere. Or finance that house.

SLF would help a ton of people, and a ton of these people didn't really know what they were getting into. I mean, you're 17 or 18 years old, our education system has failed you when it comes to personal finance, these people flash cash at you alongside some numbers you don't understand that turn out to add up faster than you expected...

Yeah. I have a lot more sympathy for these people than I did back when I was caught up on "I DID WHAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO." Sure, it was true. But I also got a headstart on life by happening to have people teach me how this stuff works, so I had relatively modest loans and paid them off before they could accrue absurd amounts of interest. So in a way I can only halfway relate anyway.
