It's a decent enough game especially if you're not familiar with the rest of the games. Be prepared for bugs and shoddy performance though especially on consoles

Tim had Staff, Dick has Batons right? Was that added in after-the-fact too

IIRC he only started using those after he became Nightwing. But those have been retroactively added to his earlier years in some stories.

I know Tim Drake is Red Robin which is a red themed design where they removed the green (basically the best part)

That's only in TAS and in the comics about 15 years IRL after he became Robin. TAS Robin's look along with using a staff and computer skills were all lifted straight from Tim. And Jason's origin along with some of his attitude were transplanted onto TAS Tim.
He started wearing this as his first costume in '89. Jason's looked identical to Dick's old costume.

It's interesting how similar the design is to BTAS Robin. Just another thing Batman Returns influenced. Always loved that design, a perfect blend of the red, green, yellow and black. Still the best one to date.

That's literally just Robin (Tim Drake)'s costume in the comics at the time. Which everybody agreed to be a major upgrade to the OG speedos and pixie boots.
Batman Returns has jack to do with that being TAS Robin's design.
Undead Unluck
The premise is the Maker (Ultimate Reed Richards) has manipulated events in some other universe so that a lot of heroes' origins haven't come to pass along with dividing the world amongst IIIRC a dozen or so people aware of his existence.

In Spider-Man's case it means he's a civilian in his 30s, married with MJ and 2 kids. Uncle Ben is alive and best buds with JJJ.
And it's just been a great comic overall. Best out of the 3 Ultimate books we've had so far

Sounds terrible.

It's actually an awesome little thing if done properly like in the Peter Jackson's King Kong game. That game seemingly took the interesting ideas of Trespasser and ran with them
52

The premise is that during one of their many events Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman all retired their hero persona for a year due to various reasons. 52 was a comic published weekly set in that year focusing on mostly D listers along with some new characters like Batwoman at the time. It's easily one of the best and most impressive comics DC has ever made.

EDIT: Seems like I'm not the only one
Ah....mi scusi, mi scusi.
I recently played it for the first time after having played Portal nearly 15 years ago. It still holds up

Filly looked very familiar from Fallout 4? When you go to look up the detective ghoul (or was that a robot?) Am I even thinking of the right game?

My friend and I were actually debating on whether Filly looked more like Megaton (FO3) or Diamond City (FO4) which is what you're thinking of
And you're thinking of Nick Valentine from FO4, he's a Synth.

I saw a video a few years back on how Andy Dick was now homeless and hanging out on some dude's couch until he got kicked out so there's some schadenfreude to be had there

Oh he's responsible via chain reaction. Had no idea.

And just being an overall terrible excuse of a human being. It's just another tire to an already enormous fire.

But what does Andy Dick have to do with Phil Hartmann's death?

IIRC Hartmann's wife was a recovering addict. Dick supplied her with drugs which lead to her going off the deep end and killing Hartman and herself.

EDIT: That's like a whole Naruto ninja village up in here

They seem to like to pretend to keep up some kind of rapport with communities, but once theyve actually made a decision, it is final most of the time.

That's their MO judging by how they handle their wikis.

Oh wow, I thought this topic died lol.

I got a call today and apparently they caught the lady and I'm going to be going in to identify her from a lineup sometime this week. Supposedly, she's part of a huge robbery spree network in the city where I live and the police is trying to crack down on it. So yeah it looks like it's going to get sorted real soon lol.

Please, please.pleaaaaaase ask "Could they each hold a laundry basket?" during the lineup

Koudelka and the shadow hearts were like this, although leaned more into the humor as the series went along. Parasite eve as well, and sweet home on the nes. I'd love more games like this though.

Koudelka doesn't get enough love

Kinder may be a European brand, but in America it is made in Illinois using American methods.

Didn't know that. If I ever get my hands on one made over there I'll check to see if I can taste a difference. In Europe a regular Kinder bar tastes pretty much like white chocolate, just butter and sugar.
And I'm a dark chocolate kind of guy, so I don't fuck with that.
Tyranthraxus posted...
Some of the old kinder stuff doesn't really hold up but happy hippo and bueno are still delicious.

Oh I'll absolutely murder someone for a Bueno. It's just the standard "chocolate" they use in regular Kinder and Surprise that's disgusting.
ellis123 posted...
Low quality American style*. The rest of the world produces milk chocolate in a different way so it does not produce butyric acid.

True, but it's not any less disgusting though. I was practically raised on Kinder chocolate like everyone else here and as an adult it just tastes god awful

Look closely at the host if you need a hint.

Even without that hint it's incredibly easy to guess if you've been on the internet for 5 minutes in the past 15 years
Hadn't even noticed the hint until you mentioned it

I looked at that link earlier in the topic and it says that the 2014 Duels of the Plainswalkers was released on PS3. The board for that game had a topic asking why he can't find it anywhere online so it isn't just me that's having problems.

You can't find it anywhere online because they got removed on all digital storefronts a few years back due to MTG Arena. And my guess is you can't find them on Amazon because they never got a physical release.
R_Jackal posted...
I don't think they were. I think they were on PC and mobile.

They surely were as I played all of them on PS3. I've never seen a physical copy though, think they were just digital downloads.

I remember people here defending him cause he threw them a couple of bucks.

Some of those are still around. Even in the topics that had him openly admit to sexually abusing employees and homeless people his sycophants were still there going on about how that mattered little because they found him attractive.

Like others have said, practice.

That said, I really only play games on PC that are better with keyboard mouse like most RTS and FPS games but if I were playing like Red Dead or God of War I'd play on the console with a controller

I generally solve that by narrowing it down to a couple of options, putting them in groups and then flipping a coin until I'm down to a single one. Though I should probably just start carrying a D20 in my wallet as that would save some time if there are too many options
Taught myself that trick because people were always getting annoyed with me spending way too much time looking at the menu in restaurants because the majority looks tasty to me.

I was wondering what people did at home before radio, TV, the internet, even books. I get that most people were some sort of farmer so that kept them busy during the day, but after the sun goes down?

Those farmers generally got up at/before sunrise, so they likely went to bed soon after the sun set

Yes, we just called them hermits

As for what they did....be pervs and teach children the Kamehameha

That's honestly crazy that Japan likes Hazbin Hotel that much. Considering a lot of my anime only watching friends greatly dislike Hazbin Hotel for its art style.

That's likely because it doesn't look like the 500 anime they watch that are practically indistinguishable from one another. My best friend is hardcore into anime and every single time I'm over there it looks like he's watching the exact same damn thing.

I wish they had stuck more closely to the source material. Other then the basic premise, they changed so much that they could have renamed the characters and shuffled the species of the kids and it would have been it's own original thing instead of wasting the money on the ip rights.

True. Other than the kids' names/design and the militia leader and his brother I don't think there was a single thing from the comic in season 2.
They kind of remind me of the bearded dragons my friend used to have
solosnake posted...
already gonna be the final season?

TBF the comic itself is only 40 issues. So it's not like there's a whole lot to adapt. Though they did drag their feet quite a bit in season 2 and added characters/plotlines that weren't in the source material IIRC

There are currently FIVE unanswered questions there regarding the new rules. Ask the Mods is completely useless for this.

I think at least some of that is likely due to the mods trying to figure it out amongst themselves on their own private board atm

I've honestly had little issue downloading a bunch of mods for Skyrim that were several GB each.
I mean, generally when you're modding something like Skyrim you're browsing the nexus looking for more stuff anyway. So I don't even notice the long download times.

You cant de-mod yourself unless there is another mod to take over, so I freely gave it to Tails. It was basically his Reddit at that point anyhow. So I didnt try to fight it, I just wanted to rid my hands of it.
