For fandom etc to want to engage the community?

Honestly I don't really care if they want to engage, every attempt they've made has been utterly inept and would've been rightfully roasted by a community of crochet enthusiasts let alone CE.

Maybe Fandom should blame themselves instead of essentially placing all the blame on CE.

Fandom pretty much said "Y'all are responsible for doxxing and death threats."

No one here doxxed Toasty, he did that himself on his very first post.

As for death threats it wasn't anyone here, unless it was an ally of TaiIs and we don't accept responsibility for his or his friends actions, nor should it be placed on us.
"I dreamt I was a moron."
I mean, the 2 admins have shown nothing but contempt and lies toward the users, why should anyone give a fuck what they think/say until they earn any sort of "trust and safety" with the users?

I wonder if they would be willing to sell the website.
Doubtful. Too much real estate for them to slap ads on.

And just like that Im getting betting websites.
I think they made clear their intentions with level of engagement when they locked CE and then responded to their AMA with "we hear you but we're not changing anything." Blaming CE for how they're handling the acquisition would be like blaming your desktop GPU for being unable to send a PM.

I think I misunderstood your first post, but I meant now you're going to get diaper ads because I mentioned a shitshow.

The same. They never wanted to engage despite making two feedback topics. I think there's a term for that actually.

They already had it in their heads how things would go from the start. They seem to like to pretend to keep up some kind of rapport with communities, but once theyve actually made a decision, it is final most of the time. The whole thing is just a silly game that they continue to play for some reason even though everyone knows theyre trash.

That's their MO judging by how they handle their wikis.
