Yugioh and Pokemon both got game adaptations, Yugioh is still getting them. Why didnt MTG get any?

It did and does tho

It had yearly versions with great presentation and little campaigns and challenge modes, and now there's MTGA.

MTGO and Arena have been going on for a bit. Plus there were the less popular one's like the few Duels of the Planeswalker games and the one that Arena killed.

There was a Diablo style MTG game that was supposed to come out that seemed pretty fun. Think it got canned because devs were constantly needling it with changes that everyone hated.

I put Duels of the Planeswalkers 2014 PS3 into both Amazon and Ebay and got zero results that weren't the physical cards.

Technically speaking magic already did because they are related to the dungeons and dragons family and Japan pretty much copied that through squares final fantasy and segas phantasy star. In fact japan owes its role playing sector to dungeons and dragons

I wish they'd bring back the DOTP games to Steam again. The first one had Planechase.

Oh damn I didn't know they were removed. I still have 2012 on Steam and 2013 on one of the consoles I think.

I eventually stopped paying much attention to Arena around the time of...I dunno, the first Ixalan block or something. It just didn't have the same fun feel as Magic Duels, which they unceremoniously axed right before (if memory serves) Hour of Destruction. Still mad about it, haha.

I have 2014 and 2015, but not the earlier few. Almost tempted to start up my 360 to play the very first one, though. I think that was my first real taste of the franchise.

You can't find it anywhere online because they got removed on all digital storefronts a few years back due to MTG Arena. And my guess is you can't find them on Amazon because they never got a physical release.

So what I'm getting from more research is that there were video game adaptations of Magic the Gathering but most don't exist anymore.

It did, but Magic the Arena is there new cash cow. I dislike it for the same reason I dislike Hearthstone, they basically starve you soo much to force MTX on you to even get the cards you want to build a proper deck.

I would've stuck with Arena longer if they ever added 2vs2 gameplay. In 1vs1 the meta always devolved into the same few decks at the top end or whatever deck the popular streamers put out that day.
