My biggest first world problem: option paralysis.

Theres just too many different ways to pass the time right now, so instead im gonna waste it dicking around on my phone so I dont pick the wrong one!

After all, isnt it more rewarding to just stare at your video game library instead of actually playing one?

When im getting pretty deep into depression option paralysis just turns into like a 24/7 thing.

I dont want to make assumptions, but if it becomes uncomfortably common you should keep an eye on it.

I generally solve that by narrowing it down to a couple of options, putting them in groups and then flipping a coin until I'm down to a single one. Though I should probably just start carrying a D20 in my wallet as that would save some time if there are too many options
Taught myself that trick because people were always getting annoyed with me spending way too much time looking at the menu in restaurants because the majority looks tasty to me.

I have ADHD so yeah this gets me bad

Motivation right? Go exercise or do chores.

Whatever you think about while doing those things - "Man I wish I weren't doing this so I could do X" then go do X once you're done.

I put all of my hobbies in an Excel file now, which includes a list of books, games, TV shows, and movies. I use RNG to help me decide what to read/play/watch next. And in games I often use RNG when given various options.
