And...since it's the last chapter of wano I'll just complain one more time... This chapter was so much more focused on orochi, who was the real emotional villain of the arc so it makes sense...but like why did it have to be this way? Why did Kaido ultimately just get swallowed up by this arc when he was the more built up and important part of the world beforehand? He was introduced trying to kill himself...it seemed so compelling. Overall I still don't think Wano is a very good arc, despite some good highs. Probably more than twice as long as it should have been. This thing 2.5 times longer than Alabasta and was half as compelling. The entire Water 7 saga, every arc from start to finish, was shorter. Crunchyroll still slowly adding Funimation stuff, including Ground Control to Psychoelectric Girl today. For the longest time that was on my dropped list but I can no longer remember anything about it. Now I can finally give it another try and see if years of anime has desensitized me to whatever put me off before.
