Eh, I don't think you're that at odds with others with non-romance series, but I could be wrong about that.

That might be true. Ive been stalled on MHA S5 for so long now despite liking the series. Its all on me not making any time for anime though. I feel like theres a lot I would watch if I could just quit prioritizing gaming, but my game backlog is so huge and I like playing games more than watching anime and take forever playing games anyways.

I like playing games more too but I get so lazy that reading manga feels easier.

I mostly watch anime while playing mobile games, exercising, or eating, so it generally doesn't take time up from other hobbies really.

I dont have that kind of focus. If I tried to watch anime while playing a mobile game Id probably be spending twice as long time wise to clear 1 episode.

yeah I'm a strictly one thing at a time kind of guy. I'll even just not eat if I'm more interested in something else rather than do it at the same time.

...So how long ago did Darker than Black become another unobtainable/unviewable anime?

5 years or so. Fucking shame too, because it was one of my top 10-15...but NO. Not gonna spend $200 some bucks on a DVD. Fucking hell.

The Suou season's been available on Prime I think. I MAY have seen S1 on Hulu once or twice, but not for a long ass time. I have no idea what kind of copyright hell that and Hell Girl are in. Those are the two shows I know I can't access practically anywhere without forking over a fortune.

Well then send feedback to Crunchyroll to use that Sony money to renew the license or get streaming rights or whatever.

Are out of print anime DVDs actually worth money? I've got a copy of Baccano sitting around that I don't really care about, but I just assumed it wasn't actually worth enough to bother selling it.

Mononoke was pretty cheap until a while ago... maybe it would get a new edition when the movie gets kickstarted/released.

Baccano Region A on DVD typically goes for $110-$150 nowadays, Bluray for $250-$300.

Theres a $35 bluray on Amazon but it's Region B, and unless you have a region free or European bluray player will not work, I've tried.

-Frieza trains there for the temporal equivalent of 10 years.

Its Dragon Ball. This is a series where a big green guy put his hands on two people and magically made them stronger. The same series where a guy can chant circles around you and make you stronger. A series where they have a magic training room and rarely ever touch it though lol

This last chapter has literally turned the Granolah arc around, from awful to awesome. I don't know how you read those spoilers and can't love it.

I wonder how much of the anime will wind up different when it returns. I heard a lot of the ToP was different in the manga. I think some of the arcs for the movies were fairly different too. I honestly wouldnt mind if Super had some anime original content with Broly, Cheelai, Caulifla and Kale. Another baseball episode would be great too since that one was fun.

I hope the anime can take some major liberties with the Granolah arc, there's a lot of filler with this endless fight against Gas that could be revised.

And maybe if it's not so much to ask, make Ultra Ego NOT a joke...?

Asking for Vegeta to not be shafted in some way is as unlikely as Yamcha being revealed to be more powerful than Zeno

Real time passes for you in there though! It's not actually doing anything but getting you stronger "for a deadline." They even make it a point not to go in there again because the cost is too great.

Nope, that's what was implied but then the sword did nothing. He had to figure out the secret of the sword. Which was that an old dude Kai was trapped in it and after being freed he did what swordz describes.

Fusion wasnt made permanent because of obvious reasons yeah, but they still originally said it was when done by Potara and then changed their mind. The series has a lot of inconsistencies if you look. Krillins height is all over the place for example in the manga and anime. When Raditz arrives Krillin is standing near the others and is basically as tall as Bulma, but then hes barely past Raditzs waist moments later. Hair color is another weird one for the series. Z Trunks has lavender hair, but then Super makes it blue even though Kid Trunks keeps the lavender color still with no explanation for either. The height thing is more amusing though since Krillin keeps growing or shrinking constantly

I'm just gonna stick with the webcomic TBQH.

Manga version really not doing it for me anymore. Probably around the 4th time he went back to redo an old chapter instead of doing a new one.

One Piece Chapter 1057 is very disappointing.

Incredibly so, I may stop reading again for a while. One of the worst One Piece chapters.

It's not even just that Yamato didn't join, they were basically not even in the chapter, just tucked away in the corner? It was incredibly awkward. The excuse for not joining is also super lame and pulled out of their ass, and worst of all was done completely off screen. Full Poochie went back to their home planet energy. If this were a western comic from a big publisher I'd be subscribing to the conspiracy theory that editorial wouldn't let Oda include the character with the arguable gender identity in the crew.

As someone who read all of Wano in one go, I felt like Yamato didn't get the same amount of emphasis put on him like the other crew members did before they joined. It felt like Yamato popped up in the last third of Wano, and mostly did his own thing. Even his interactions with Luffy were sparse. So that chemistry between Yamato and the crew never really developed, IMO. So while I thought him joining the crew was a foregone conclusion, I'm not as upset over it as I bet a lot of other people will be. Still wouldve been cool though.

Has to be after the current arc just based on the age of some characters.

Maybe the manga will do what it did with Broly and put in a page that says "This is when Super Hero happens"
